So hey everyone! I found this awesome site that lets you post your old books you want/need to sell, and you can buy books from other students. The cool thing is that membership is free, and its a great place to meet people and get things done. Just go post all the books you want to get rid of-thats what I did and I already have a hit for a book to sell.

| Help? |
[05 Sep 2005|04:35pm] |
I've been at coc three years. And still can't answer the easiest questions.
I was told to take Math 115 (same as Math 060) at LA Mission College this semester (which I’m doing) so I won’t be at COC Fall 05 – am I going to be in the system, are they going to send me my registration date for Spring 06, or do I need to apply again?
Also, will I be able to enroll in Math 070 for Spring 06, even though I am still going to be enrolled in Math 115 at LA Mission? Do I need to do anything about that? I’m trying to make sure since I need to take it in order to transfer to CSUN in time.
Thanks!!

Hi, my name is Lindsey, I'm new to this community & to the school.
Can you guys tell me how hard or easy it is to add classes when the semester starts? There are two classes that I really need, & the times/days I need are closed. What kind of chance is there that a few people will drop & I'll be able to get in when school starts? Thanks.

Join commcolleges! |
[25 Jun 2005|09:33pm] |
I'm trying to unite community college students across the country in one community so we can share advice, give support, and talk about community colleges in general. Please join commcolleges if you'd like!
(My apologies if this is not permitted. Since it's so related to the community's topic, I figured it would be fine.)

looking to hire a filmmaker to film a 1-4hr seminar(this coming tuesday around 7pm)? youll have to have prefferably two cameras to film the speaker and audience, and you will have to edit and integrate the tapes from camera one to two. pay is negotiable, and its in the LA area. Thanks
please contact me at dianataylor2012@hotmail.com or we can discuss further at AIM dianataylor2012, thanks

| Your Worst Class |
[16 Sep 2004|08:04pm] |
Do any of you guys have a class that no matter how hard you study for you just cant seem to do well in?
I have cinema 120 and I'll tell you it sucks :-( I would definately recomend avoiding it if possible. The class time is fine, we just watch a movie, but we have a test on the reading each week. I think 50+ pages is quite a bit to learn every single week, so because of that I'm probably getting a real low grade in the class :-(
Anyone else have a sucky class?

How has everyones first few days been?
Is anyone else having trouble accessing their online account? I went on to pay the fees since their raise and it says my password is invalid, so I tried it a few more times cos its the same one I always use and have it written down, so it froze my ability to log in. - Great :-/
Anyone have any info or taken a class with English teachers J. George, or S. Brant? I'm registered with George but dont like her too much, anyone know if Brant is better?
