Subject:Rex Curry cited in new book on Drug Detection Dog Training & Libertarian Lawyers
Security:
Time:09:35 am
Secrets about drug dogs are revealed in this book by the author Ian Tinny, with information gleaned from Attorney Rex Curry. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MQ3ZYVE
image
An exposé of drug detection dog training should begin with the best advice: How to avoid the dogs entirely. The way to avoid drug dogs is: Avoid the police. This book explains how.
Next, this book exposes how drug dogs are used for lies. They are used to fabricate “probable cause” for searches (searches of cars, other conveyances, objects, and packages). Judges write clueless opinions about how accurate a drug dog is, and they overlook this point: Police can lie and say that the dogs alert when the dogs don’t alert at all.
The author Ian Tinny also released the sensational exposé “Pledge of Allegiance + Swastika Secrets” -a semi biographical work about the renowned historian who revealed (1) the Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the Nazi salute and Nazi behavior, and (2) how German socialists (Nazis) used the swastika to represent crossed “S” letters for “socialism.”
Before becoming a full-time writer, Ian Tinny was a part-time instructor to the United States Probation Office and to federal judges, and his work led to the arrest, trial, conviction, and imprisonment of America’s Dumbest Criminals.
Tinny is also the author of a classic science fiction tale revealing an amazing discovery about time travel.

Subject:Swastika = S-letters for "SOCIALISM" under Nazis
More people globally are learning about the work of Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") showing the use of the swastika as crossed S-letters for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party. http://rexcurry.net/swastikanews.html

And see Red Swastik movie poster http://rexcurry.net/red-swastik-movie-review.jpg

And the book by Michael Slade "Swastika" http://rexcurry.net/swastika-michael-slade.jpg

American socialists bear some blame for the notorious symbol used by the National Socialist German Workers Party on its flag. Edward Bellamy worked with the Theosophical Society, another socialist group, and during that time the Theosophical Society used the symbol adopted later by German National Socialists. It is commonly called a swastika, although German socialists called it a Hakenkreuz (hooked cross).
http://rexcurry.net/adolf-hitler-nazism-fascism-third-reich-swastika2.jpg

Although an ancient symbol, the swastika was altered for use as overlapping S-letters for 'socialism.' It was turned 45 degrees from the horizontal and was oriented in the S-direction to highlight the overlapping S-letters for "socialism." Similar alphabetic symbolism was used in the SS division and similar symbolism is still visible today, every day, on the streets as Volkswagen logos.

Subject:(x-posted) How many GOP presidential candidates does it take to beat Ron Paul?
Security:
In Louisiana...all of them.

Louisiana has a two-part caucus to select GOP national convention delegates; (the primary is basically a beauty pageant). See explanations of how it all works here and here. Various pro-Paul groups around the state were able to amass enough qualified individuals to submit a full slate of delegates - more than any other candidate; one third of all delegates submitted were Paul delegates. In anticipation, supporters of Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain and Romney banded together to submit a slate of uncommitted delegates labeled "Pro-Life/Pro-Family;" this hybrid slate beat the Ron Paul slate in all 7 districts. It is currently unknown as to how many supporters of each candidate were on the hybrid slate.

Here's the Pro-Life/Pro-Family ballot:

Unofficial results are in, and the final results (when ready) will be here.

McCain is in first so far, followed by Ron Paul then Mitt Romney. Five-hundred provisional ballots remain to be counted. However, the Paul campaign is contesting the results and requesting that the LA GOP count all of the ballots and even check the credentials of some of the delegates.

::Update:: The original deadline for submitting delegates was January 10th. After the huge slate of Ron Paul delegates was submitted, the LA GOP extended the deadline to January 12th to allow other candidates to submit more delegates.

Additionally, quite a few Democrats and Independents switched parties in order to participate in the GOP caucus. The deadline to register as a Republican to be eligible to participate was November 30th. However, the LA GOP used a voter list from November 1st at the caucus locations to check eligibility. Voters who had registered after November 1st (but before the deadline) were forced to use provisional ballots, 500 of which have not yet been counted - though the results of the race are already being trumpeted.

In a few cases, even state-certified, pre-approved Ron Paul delegates were forced to use provisional ballots.

Spread this far and wide - tell your friends what happened in Louisiana, and don't let them get away with politics as usual.

Subject:Books on industrialization and prosperity
Time:01:55 am
For college students and recent graduates on the list, I'm interested in knowing what books professors assigned about the industrial revolution and its effects on people.  I'm interested in knowing about living standards during the early industrial revolution and now in its late stages - and what professors think are the best current books available on them are.

Hi!,

I need your help!!

I'm a student at the University of Vermont in an "English: Race Relations" class. This Thursday, myself and 3 other people must put on a 25 minute presentation about whatever we want concerning racism. It would earn us super points to get the class involved on our presentation as it is for the education of all of us and not encourage drooling on your desk.

So, do you guys know any activities that would get the class directly involved/sparking a great discussion? Our only current idea is using a few scenes from Do The Right Thing....have you guys ever been in a class/workshop with Racism being the subject and had something really stick with you long after the class was over?

Also, 2 people in my group have crazy Hockey practices so I feel like I've become the leader and don't want this thing to crash and burn in our faces. I feel like no one else cares about this project, it's very frustrating. But my main concern is for the quality of this presentation. I want my classmates to really learn and not be bored at the same time! Extra points for activities that make you get out of your chair. Or possibly anything interesting you think we could show/bring up during the presentation.

ANY HELP IS SOOO USEFUL! THANKS!

Yesterday, my roommate came into my room to see if I wanted to watch the State of the Union with all of them, to which I replied, "Hell No." Personally, I consider myself to be politically engaged and informed--but this mockery of a president has turned my apathy to the administration to bitter denial of its substantiality. My roommates are also political followers; in fact, one is going to DC for a protest this weekend. I digress.

What are your opinions on Barack Obama--the black, Democratic, hopeful for the presidency? I went to his site this morning and watched a clip of him speak; this wasn't the first I'd seen, and--it must be said--he is a fantastic orator. I read his stance on many of the core issues and I stopped. My innate fear was that his political views were too good to be true; that if he became president, we'd see a 180. Was this due to my pessimism regarding politicians? Or was it substantiated? Why do I have this innate fear of trusting our nation’s leaders?

Then the obvious hit. For the past two presidential terms we've been lied to; we've been reassured, told to live in fear, and then reassured twenty times over. (Which way is up, really?)

What are your thoughts on the presidential hopefuls? (Including Hillary Clinton--someone I don't have much of an opinion on just yet.)
Do you even have any? I hope our generation hasn't given up and taken a back burner at a time when our vote and voice is as important as ever.

Subject:Stories about Edukation

Time:11:37 am
My employers and I discussed writing for their publication "The New Individualist," and we thought a "back to school" issue in September would be good. IT's an outreach publication, not an academic one, so I would really invite interesting anecdotes from your schooling (and maybe teaching for a few of you) if digging them up doesn't cause too much pain. The thrust of the issue is that education teaches people not to think (and for us, thinking is the source of life and survival) by privileging student feelings over facts, knowledge, and critical thinking.

Colorful anecdotes about relativism, pc, unfairness, unaccountability, and equality of unequals are solicited!

Emily here, with the announcement that Michael Badnarik's official campaign Journal Community, badnarik_in_dc, is now up. I'm sure all of you remember Michael was our presidential candidate in 2004, and most of you probably know that he's turned his energies to winning a Congressional seat in 2006. The district is in Texas, but we've got a wide range of national support, and I already have volunteers from many states.

If you think you'd like to help, or just be kept informed of campaign news and events, join up. All are welcome.

Hey, everyone! Just joined today. I'm the vice-chair of the University of Michigan College Libertarians.

2 weeks ago we had a gun giveaway, and hosted 2 speakers, including Mike Theide, president of Michigan Gun Owners. It was pretty successful, with over 80 people attending. Coverage is here (Michigan Daily), here (Michigan Review), and here (MGO).

Monday we're planning a Tax Day protest, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for signs? Here are some I've come up with:
  • Government is wasting our money
  • "Your taxes fund Corporate Welfare
  • "Taxes are Too dang High" (lol, saw this one in a Tax Day protest picture)
  • Reduce Government Spending
  • Slash Taxes, Starve a Feeding Bureaucrat
  • American taxpayers will work from January 1, 2005 until April 17th, 2005 to earn enough money to pay all their tax bills for the year 2005
  • taxation is theft

Also had one about how much Michiganders pay in income tax. Also, I was going to print out a bunch of million dollar bill handouts with my free engineering printing.

    Any other ideas?
