it's morphin time
hey all. every now and then someone finds our community, makes one post about how great the show was (and often how geeky they are er, were... ;) ) while this is fantastic, and i want as many people to join as possible, because hey, that's why it was created.. what it's become is a small "check out what I found and am a member of" kindof elite force; it's like having a badge or certificate, something symbolic like that. while this is cool and all, i envisioned more of a discussion group. this community isn't *just* about power rangers; it's the group title because it's a great title and was what inspired me to make this group, but by all means is it not just about the power rangers.. talk amongst yourselves, or talk about what you thought was cool back in the day, or even still.. lets get chatty. Personally, I prefer the Japanese Power Rangers
I'm not a huge fan of Power Rangers per se, but of it's Japanese equivalent, the Super Sentai series. My personal favorites are Goranger, JAKQ, Battle Fever J, Dynaman, Bioman, Maskman, Liveman, Jetman, Zyuranger, Dairanger, Megaranger, Go-Go Five, Timeranger, and Gaoranger. I haven't seen Dekaranger yet. Usually, the Japanese shows have better acting, more violence, and actual footage of buildings blowing up and pieces coming down on the civilian population. Favorite metamorphosis device in any Sentai show: the Dino-Buckler from Zyuranger, which is worn on the belt and has a medallion in the center. Favorite mecha: (tie) the Mega Voyager from Megaranger and the Jet Garuda from Jetman. Favorite team leader: Akarenjaa from Goranger Favorite sixth character: Burai, the Dragon Ranger from Zyuranger. Favorite villains: (tie) the Gorma Empire from Dairanger and Nejireijia from Megaranger. Favorite team-up: Gaoranger Vs. Super Sentai (the Gaoranger team teams up with represents from five Sentai teams from the past). Favorite airship: the Dyna Jupiter from Dynaman Current Mood: content |

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find some animated Tommy Oliver icons? I'd prefer from when he was either the Green or White Ranger but any will do... |

*brushes the dust off this community*
Perhaps the greatest Ranger to ever live, Tommy Oliver, is returning to his roots. Well, ok no he's not going to be evil, but he will be the leader in the newest Power Rangers series. Power Rangers: Dino Thunder ok, so this still isnt 100% reliable because its on the internet and all, but i've heard the rumors for a while now. CHeck out the new cast. http://prometheusrealm.tripod.com/power/prdt.html Current Mood: curious |
