Not only has this community been quite neglected, but the static disbanded a while ago due to many real life scheduling conflicts.

This like the linkshell itself will remain incase a new purpose is found for it.

Well I have neglected to use the community for it's intended purpose of informing everyone as to what's going on with this static. At this point in time I'm certain most people don't have LJ, but I'm going to use this to post something I think is important.

Please bookmark the Official FFXI Linkshell Community. I hope to use that as our true central communication space. It may be a bit quirky, but I think it's got great potential.

I'm sorry I had to cancel on you all last night at the last minute. I very recently joined a sky LS and was unaware that Sundays are regularly scheduled God pops (starting at 7:00 PM EST).

I've had a great time with everyone, but sadly I will have to leave the static.

Treasa, you have been a great leader and I've had a blast partying with everyone.

If anyone ever needs anything, please let me know! I'll miss you guys. Good luck!

I hope everyone took some time to read the POL messages sent to static members. I really want to get feedback so we can decide what to do. We have a good mix of jobs, but haven't really had enough time together to read each other.

Please post your feedback via the POL group or here. We will have another group discussion in the near future.

Though TJ and I are just friends now, rest assured that Izzitda and Treasa are still very much together. This real life event will have no effect on this static.

As for location for 05/14, the Campsitarus suggest 32-35 Behemoths Dominion or 32-35 Garlaige Citadel. 34-36 Eldieme Necropolis is not too far off for us, but we might need to be 34 before even trying this.

I was thinking that maybe we should have some sort of policy in place for when/if people are unable to static or cannot log on at the set static time.

For instance, if a member does not show up within 30 minutes of the set static start time, then it is agreed that the other members may pick up a replacement member for the night, and the absent member should agree to pick up the exp during the week before the next scheduled static night.

Also, if something happens that a member is disconnected (due to weather or anything like that), then after 30 minutes the remaining party should agree to either pick up a rep, or disband for the night.

I don't want to be a bother, I just thought it may help to have some type of agreement in place.

I delivered a pearl to Mistique (tashee) this evening. Mistique will be bringing DRG/WAR to the mix. Mistique is busy on the 16th, but is ready to go for the 23rd. She is also OK with us finding a pick-up member for the 16th. So there you go. Full party and *gasp* we can finally start leveling!

I wish to apologize for my poor leadership skills. I've been so focused on RL stuff that I have neglected all of you. {I'm sorry}

Izzitda and I spoke, due to RL stuffage on Sundays, a starting time of 8:30pm Eastern would make things much easier for us. Hopefully that will work for everyone.

As for a 6th member. I have failed here too. I will spend time this week recruiting again. If nothing happens, we'll just do pick up for #6 for a while.

Last thing, will people be able to play on the 16th, Easter Sunday? Please say something.

Izzy has just received a very labor intensive take home exam worth bookoo points toward his grade. Thus all his free time is now dedicated to school work and no time for leveling BRD. I'm sad but quite proud of him!
