This is kinda dead..so i thought I would ask your opinion on...
"sell-outs"
IE. Modest Mouse becoming main stream because they needed money?
Big deal?
Or do you not mind, because their music is still good?

I'm really sorry, I should've posted ages back.
It's quite incredible the number of members due to the community's inactivity and really, thank you for staying 'tuned'. (okay, I swear I don't make crappy jokes like that all the goddamn time. Shut up Adam.)
Maybe we could start with a theme? -dun dun duuuun-
First songs you've heard from your favourite bands.
Just to get to know each other! (sorry for the cheeriness. scary.)
Btw, I know this is harsh but one song per band and five songs max. by admittance. In this case, there can only be one first song.
Of course, if you feel like emphasising another's choice, you are welcome to vote for the same song and don't be disappointed if you can't fit in all your favourite bands: there'll be other themes to flaunt your knowledge.
Take the opportunity to go back in time and enjoy old favourites.
-cheesy Chessire Cat grin.
If you aren't sure which bands/artists are indie or not (this happens, even to snobs), I'd suggest you comment or post about it and we'll vote. Or something.
