So I saw the Encore broadcast last night in Frankfurt. It was brilliant to come back to the play after one year. It was like watching a new play and I enjoyed it immensely. What a treat to be able to re-visit a show again that you loved with a bit of time having passed.
I have one question for any other Germans on this comm:
When you went, how many people would you say were in the audience? Was it difficult or easy to get a ticket?

I am worried the Frankfurt cinema will discontinue with the NT broadcasts, there never were many people there. Yesterday, however, to my great surprise and delight it was suddenly 3/4 full!!
At first I kept moaning to my friend that I didn't understand why more people wouldn't come to seize this great opportunity ( Kulturbanausen! ), and that at this rate, the cinema was never going to make a profit, and they would stop buying the NT productions...yaddayadda and then at one point she said "Turn around!" which I did and all the rows behind us were packed with people - which shut me up for good.  Sherlock sei Dank!??? ;-)

Hi everyone. A few days, I wrote a heartfelt, Cumberfeels-filled letter to NT Live, and apparently it was enough to reach David Sabel, the Head of Digital Media, which is the highest we're going to get. This is the reply I got. We're not getting it.

July 26 Edit: Hey everyone, I've loved reading everyone's opinions about this, but interestingly, my other post on this matter as garnered a different stance on NT's decisions regarding Frankenstein. Please go check it out!
