I haven't updated lately. Not much going on in my life, I suppose.

Elvis' leg appears to be healing well. I'm hoping that given time and a bit of luck, the vet will no longer think that surgery and/or amputation will be needed. I'm reluctant to even consider those possibilities. Poor dog.

Weekends have been typical. Texas Tux and sometimes a movie.

I'm actively looking for a job now. I'm so damn bored at home and making mortgage payments minus a source of income is wearing thin on my bank account. If anyone has a job they wanna offer me...feel free.

What else? Ah, if you're familiar with recent events in the OC (here meaning Oak Cliff), the guy that got shot in the head in his driveway was Ethan's friend's dad. Miriam is pretty upset over the whole thing. I think she was closer to the family than my brother. I feel for the kids that had to see it. That's gotta be hard to get out of your head.

I did my taxes today. I'm well on my way to receiving a sweet little check for all my hard hours of work this year. HAHA

I could go for some blueberry ice cream right about now.
