We’re an icon community that is designed for icon designers to get their work out and see what kind of things people think. However, we do ask that you not take any icons from anyone without consulting them first. Lots of the artists make icons specially for themselves.
[x] Please note that it is possible in some cases that some adult content will float through. I don’t want to get in trouble, so you have been warned.
[x] We are nice to our fellow members. No flaming, no trolling, be polite, etc. You know the drill. If you bring drama, expect to be warned and removed.
[x] If you are participating in a contest, please make sure you state in your post whether your graphic is adoptable after the contest. But please do NOT use the graphic until the contest is over.
[x] Make sure your icon fits all the lj size requirements (40k, 100x100).
[x] You can change your entry as often as you like. Just make sure you change it in the ORIGINAL post and obviously, no entries after the contest has been declared over.
[x] Make sure you read the contest information for the week before you post your submission.
[x] We do not do requests.
[x] Please don't be a deadbeat member. Even if you don't post something for a contest, please take the two minutes to vote. That way the winners aren't chosen by a small number of people--they are chosen by the entire community. That's why it's called a COMMUNITY--we all work together.
[x] We cannot stress this enough: NO HOTLINKING. Many graphics creators pay for their hosts, and even if they don't, they have strict bandwidth limits. Be respectful of that and save images to your own servers before using.
[x] You may not vote for yourself
[x] Anyone found "ballot stuffing" will be warned. Repeat offense will result in banishment.
