So let's see, what to say... I'm a young woman currently working her way up in the construction industry. My free time, such as it is, is taken up with hiking, reading, playing around on the computer, and watching a bit of television here and there. My favorite authors include JRR Tolkien, Isaac Asimov, Roger Zelazny, David Eddings, Patricia Briggs, and Raymond E. Feist. I enjoy just about every type of music, from classical to heavy metal. I avidly follow American football, both college and professional. In general I enjoy movies with violence, explosions, and/or really cool special effects.

The quote in my header image is paraphrasing Roger Ebert, who said, "Each film is only as good as its villain. Since the heroes and the gimmicks tend to repeat from film to film, only a great villain can transform a good try into a triumph." I use story instead of film because I think this is true for all media.
