I'm bad at this. I'm a curmudgeon and I cover up my shyness with crankiness and being an irascible old coot. And over the last 40 years, those cover-ups have become such a reflex, they're barely cover-ups anymore. They've pretty much become the weeds inhabiting the barren field where once grew my personality. So I'm bad at this. And that's mostly all anybody needs to know. I'm good at being bad at this sort of thing.
