thanks to everyone who answered my earlier question, but now i dont know what to do! most of you guys said to go ahead and spay her asap, which i thought i should do, too, but my vets office suggested i wait about 2 months before doing so...??? i mean, i dont want my baby getting cancer. and youd think id just go with what the vet says (well actually, it wasnt the vet i spoke to, it was the receptionist) but if most of you are saying asap... im already gonna get a second opinion (and a third...and most likely a fourth!) but i still wanna hear yours! thanks again x-posted |

so my baby mocha got her period a couple days ago...i guess shes not a baby anymore! my little girls all grown up!! :'( so yeah, my question is, is there anything i need to know? any stories, horror or otherwise'; ive already done all my asking jeeves and googling and the like, but i stil wanna hear your stories! thanks guys. x-posted |

Sadly, since I created my community, only 2 people have bothered to join it. One of these was my sympathetic wife. I think this may be largely due to the fact that I have no clue about computers and dont understand how to make my community appear on search pages when people type in a relevant interest. Anyway, I'll cut to the chase. I've created this community to allow users to share their views and opinions on dog behaviour. Having searched LJ extensively I cant seem to find anything similar and think there is a need for this type of community.  dog_behaviouris a community for anybody that has any interest in dogs whatsoever. Whether you have a problem with your dog, have had a similar problem to someone else and have had success in overcoming it in a certain way, do you want a dog and want to ask a specific question to someone with the experience, whatever your reasons for being interested in dogs, come and join this community. Here's my lot enjoying the sun in the garden...they are Kiska (red and white malamute), Kayo (sable and white malamute), Koda (white akita-malamute cross) and finally Buddie, the border collie...

my 11 year old cockapoo has been scaring me recently. he refuses to eat. he had a check-up about a month ago and everything was fine so im guessing its just old age or something but it sucks because he doesnt eat his dog food, i resorted to trying to give him hot dogs which he still doesnt eat, the only thing he seems to eat are his little liver treats has anyone else had this problem? what should i do? hes seriously not eating at all and it killing me that it might be killing him! :( when i pet his back i can feel his spine :( also, has anyone experienced taking their pet with them on a plane? whats that whole process like? stories, please (this is for my 9 month old, btw) thanks in advance Edit: 11:22pm - when i got home tonite coco had eaten practically all of his food, yay! :) im probably still gonna take him to the vet, tho. but thank GOD, you know? |
