Just got back from seeing Batman: The Dark Knight.

It was brilliant !! You are crazy if you don't go & see it on the big screen.

Congrats to Kat (TeamKitten) and Josh (Kid9) on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Tyler born today at 6am.

We can't wait to meet him !

And so ends the era of renting for us.....

Tomorrow we move house !

We will be without the net for a couple of days while we move & while the net gets transferred to the new house.

SO since we will only be here for another month I decided to get Tony a kitteh. What surprised me was it was adopt a pet day yesterday! He had NO idea it was a big surprise. He loves her :) She is from a shelter in case you are wondering. She currently doesn't have a name so I just call her Miss Kitty for now. I am sure Tony will think up something geeky for her :P She is only 11 weeks old. Last night she spent the night in the spare bathroom, I said to Tony he should put away the toothpaste etc, but he thought she wouldn't get up onto the bench she is too little. Well this morning when I went to check on her, there she is sitting in the sink, just chillin !

Tonight I am really missing Kel. I am feeling very emo about it actually.

I have been keeping myself really busy with work & visiting people and having visitors so that I don't feel so bad about Kel not being around anymore. I know she is only a email away or a phone call./text but it's just not the same as being able to see your bestie whenever you want to. Or having breakfast together, or the group going to jackpot together. We're actually going to get some dinner there tonight which always makes me sad now.

I will be counting the days till June !

Mmmmm I love sleeping in. I haven't slept in for a LONG time, I enjoyed that :)

Today we went camera shopping. I am a lucky girl and got the sexy Canon IXUS850.

I am playing around with it atm so once I figure it all out I will post some pictures.

I also got myself a webcam with a microphone. It's very cute. Looks like a little space ship :P

Today I also booked & paid for the last of our accommodation for our US holiday.
It's a very good feeling to have all this stuff prepaid!! Just have to book a couple of vegas shows and we will be ready to roll !

In point form.....
(cause I am lazy)

* Watched the end of Maternity Ward tonight, although for the most part it makes my stomach turn. The end result is worth it. Why I am going to put myself through it I won't ever know, but we're still having a baby at some stage.

* Booked & paid for more USA holiday stuff. Only 1 thing left to do and we are booked & paid for our whole trip !! I am so excited! It's still 3 months away but I have wanted this holiday for so long & it's finally here !!

* Had dinner at Brad & Aliya's place Friday night. It was AWESOME! Who knew Brad was such a wizz in the kitchen! SUCH TASTY FOODS !If only Tony could cook like that ! Aliya made a kick ass slice too :)

* Jackpot Sunday night with the crew. I was feeling a tad sick so I wasn't my normal self, sorry guys.

* Today at work sucked. Being the only one to take care of 25 odd people ment basically doing 3 peoples jobs at once and before you know it you look at your watch and it is 1pm and you think to yourself "wasn't it 7:30am like 10 mins ago". I am so glad I left early today!

* Greazefest is this Sunday. Oh the woes of what to wear!! Do I wanna try & look pretty or be comfortable? Hmmmm

* Tony's birthday is right around the corner, I only get 12 more months of having a husband in his 20's :P

* I am going to go & get a counter to count down the days to our USA holiday. I AM SO FRICKIN EXCITED!!! OMG THE SHOPPING.....OMG THE CANDY ... OMG CAT & TRACEY...OMG OMG OMG !!

This afternoon I went with Kel as moral support while she got her Snowflake tattoo.

Overcome by the feeling of losing her to the UK, I decided to tie myself to Kel forever and got a matching Snowflake tattoo with her. I got it around Jack as it goes with him & the dude just drew the swirly bits on as he went & I love how it turned out.

I love Kel, it upsets me to think about her going so I don't. It's like having a sister leave.


I think I am seriously crazy to get tattooed twice in 1 week !

This afternoon I got myself a 30th Birthday present.
A new tattoo. It's on my right calf, and its HOOGE!
Pretty much cover the side & back of my calf.
It was the most painful 2 & 1/2 hours I have sat for so far. But it was worth it. Came up just like I wanted it. Manner was so great & paid very close attention to detail !!

I am super duper happy !

So, The Henry Rollins show is my new favorite show.
It's a bit like a punch in the face. It's only short but leaves a mark on you.

Tonight's episode was great, though not as good as the one which featured his open letter to Laura Bush which was pure genius.
I love that they don't sensor him too much. I mean there are some words he can't say I am sure, but it seems they let him say mother fucker as much as he wants.

That man has a deep passionate hatred for George W Bush like none other I have witnessed.
I mean everyone says in passing how much they hate the dickhead but Henry's level of hatred is endless!

I like his interviews & his social commentary, But I am not a fan of the musical act's he has on. But by the looks of the new season it gets better :)

Anyone else watched it & liked or disliked it?

THIS IS AWESOME!

My long weekend started by a trip to the hairdresser. Which was great until the eyelash tint dye got in my eyes...OUCH! But the milk she put in my eyes helped. Why is beauty pain...WHHYYY !
Then I headed over to Kel & Grant's to help with the garage sale but it was kinda over by the time I got there so I just helped pack up & then took Grant out for lunch. Oh just before we packed up the garage sale these people turned up & OMG....they must have been genetic dregs..I was surprised they could speak let alone read! We found it rather amusing.

Saturday afternoon & night was spent packing. We went over to drop some stuff off at my sister's place and they were on their way out in the city so we gave them a lift. I am such a bad infulence on my baby sister, as we were driving in I saw all these US Sailors in nice white uniforms so I said to my sister "ohhh loook sailors" and I put her window down...so she screamed out "OHHH YEAH"..LOL. It probably helped that she was a bit pissed already :P

Sunday was packing & my other sister dropped in to pick up her computer that Tony was fixing for her. We went for lunch & shopping. I was unfortunate enough to see some peeps I didn't want to talk to, so I didn't. I make it a policy to ignore those I don't want to talk to or socialize with. Why bother, it's just going to be a meaningless insincere conversation. I would rather save my breath for talking shit with those I care about. heehee.
The rest of the day was spent packing.

Today I did a few things on the phone that I can't normally do when at work which was good.
Then I packed some more. Shari came over & we got Georges for dinner. She goes to South America in a week.

We are moving in 2 weeks to a new place around the corner on Ryan's Rd.

What a great night...

The weather has turned cold so we cuddled on the couch under a blanket & watched Return of the Jedi eating easter eggs.....what more could a girl want!

Yesterday & Today we spent packing up our computer rooms, moving furniture and merging our separate computer rooms into 1 computer room. We're pretty stuffed so it has been good to relax tonight. My sister & her friend are going to stay with us for a week or so till they get their own place. Hence the clearing out of the room, so they can share :)

It's been so good to have these days off, I have caught up on lost sleep & got everything done that I wanted to do. I got to break out my light tent & lamps on Thursday to take some photo's.
WOW .... what a difference it makes! Here's an example:

Tomorrow we go to the Engagement party of 2 of our favorite people! I never thought for a minute while we were playing X-Men Monopoly all those years ago that these 2 would be getting married!

And now....just because it's funny...

These 2 guys moved in across the road into a townhouse a few weeks ago & it looks like tonight is their housewarming party.

I've not seen ANY housewarming party this big before !!!

There is a full on bad set up, full drum kit & all, they have a bbq going, people out on the street and dance music blasting with proper night club lighting swiveling around all over the place!

They went all out for this one !

EDIT: Driving past on the way home from dinner we noticed they have a smoke machine as well. Lets hope they turned off their smoke alarms before they started it up!

For those of you who have stayed in Vegas before. What is the most affordable hotel on the strip?
I was though Treasure Island would be exciting, but it looks pretty boring to me.

I am strangely drawn to Stratosphere Hotel
I think it's the fact it was used in Mars Attacks! and it just happens to be one of my favorite movies.


Advise anyone?
