hopefulI took the bike to a well know Yamaha Tech who works out of his house. We found 2 problems with the bike.
1) The soark was so weak that he said it would have run like crap if it did start. Stands to reason as it ran like crap when it was running.
Fix) Took apart the entire ignition system and cleaned ALL the ground spots. A special tool was needed for getting the electrical flywheel off and I didnt have that tool anyway.
2) After all that, it still wouldnt start, WOuldnt push start either. It finally backfired and he said, I bet that thing is hydrolocking because its full of fuel in the crankcase.
Fix) Pulled the cylinder off, and yup, the boittom end was about 1/4 full of fuel. That definately will not let a 2 stroke start. So I'm getting new engine gaskets for the top end while he soaks the fuel out tonight. We will put it back together tomorrow and hope for the best.
