Template:Uw-autocalc
Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit removed or disrupted a Wikipedia feature which provides an automatic calculation such as an age based on a birth date. Please don't do this as such edits do not appear to be constructive. Also note that automatically calculated information promotes greater accuracy and reduced maintenance of content than hard coding such information. For further information on how to properly use auto-calculation templates, please see the appropriate documentation (for example, age calculation templates). If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you.
| This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-autocalc}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
[edit]{{subst:Uw-autocalc}}{{subst:Uw-autocalc|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-autocalc|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-autocalc||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-autocalc|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-autocalc}} rather than {{Uw-autocalc}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
