Hello everyone! It's been a few years since anyone has discussed this template. I have an idea with regard to the cities that are listed. Would it be possible for me to add the top 10 cities in terms of population to this list while creating mayoral election pages for those that don't have them? In addition, what do we think of re-ordering them in order of population size? Comrade RJ (talk) 23:01, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I would propose to change the names on the current drop boxes (Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami) to their residing counties (Duval, Orange, Miami-Dade) and are to be ordered by population from highest to lowest (Dade, Orange, Duval). The "Other Localities" can be replaced with the municipalities respective located counties. I originally though that metropolitan areas would've been a better divide, but it doesn't fit well in the government structure of the state. I would want to know (since I'm based in Miami-Dade) if adding every municipality in the county would be appropriate to the sidebar. This is of course when articles can be finished for such.
