I am now retired from the workforce after a career in the computer software field.
My interests include astronomy, critical thinking, martial arts and home renovation.
Human behaviour fascinates, confuses and scares me in pretty much equal degrees.
I made my first Wikipedia edit in March 2014, and one day I hope to be good at it.

[edit]My contributions are entirely my own. I have only used one account and I have not used a customised signature. I have never been paid to edit Wikipedia, and I have never edited on a topic in which I have a financial interest.
I offer the following information for transparency:
- I am a past employee of Honeywell, IBM, Logica, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Macquarie University, EDS and Hewlett-Packard. I no longer have any connection with any of these fine companies other than sometimes as a retail customer.
- I have studied and/or undertaken research at the University of Sydney, Macquarie University, University of New South Wales, and the University of Technology, Sydney. I have been a member of the Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre since 1986.
- I have been a member of the Astronomical Society of New South Wales since the mid-1990s, although I have never been an employee.
- I have been a member of Guerrilla Skeptics on Wikipedia ("GSoW") since 2014.
