DYK for A Media Luz
[edit]On 13 March 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article A Media Luz, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that "A Media Luz" ("With Dimmed Lights") is one of the most successful tango compositions of all time? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/A media luz. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, A Media Luz), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Concerns on "A Media Luz" for GA nomination
[edit]I notice that you have been absent from editing Wikipedia for more than two months. I am notifying you because I want to make sure if you are still responsive. If not really, then we may have to remove your nomination of "A Media Luz" for GA. - RTSthestardust (talk) 02:49, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- Besides at one point between late 2024 and Jan 2026, you were absent for over a year. - RTSthestardust (talk) 02:49, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- @RTSthestardust: Hello there, I last logged in yesterday in fact. I check to see if there's anything going with the nomination a few times every week, but at the time I'm not doing any other edits whatsoever (I've rather decided to enjoy my summer). Since it is a small nomination, I don't have an issue setting time aside to assess whatever points may come up in the review.
- Other than that, I work plenty offline using a word processor because I prefer doing my reading, development of sections, and citations offline, and then eventually add the content to the pages (you can check the log on most articles I've been writing lately and how they go from a couple of paragraphs to a well structured article in one edit, for example "A Media Luz"). I've seen the tag about the lead being too short, but that is something that I'd rather discuss with the reviewer. I don't necessarily agree with it, and given the case I'd add the stuff that another person thinks should be there but I don't see. Since the person didn't write anything in the talk page, it is kind of a tag-and-run.--GDuwenHoller! 11:27, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
