Add topicReplaceable non-free use File:Christopher Masterson in 2008.jpg
[edit source]
Thanks for uploading File:Christopher Masterson in 2008.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sophisticatedevening(talk) 16:56, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

Small text in signature
[edit source]I noticed that you added small text formatting to your signature, but omitted the closing </small>. That is not ideal as it causes the small text to continue for the remainder of the page–especially when this happens on AfD subpages that are transcluded to various log pages. It's a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but I wanted to let you know so that it can be repaired. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 02:36, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

Re: The Man Who Sold the World
[edit source]It looks like your nom accidentally restored (purely due to the bot) a false start review from 2020. It's in the page history, but I blanked it to reset it and take the nom. Ojorojo has been inactive for three years. Viriditas (talk) 02:40, 13 June 2026 (UTC)

Why are mixed pronoun usage considered “inconsistent”?
[edit source]If someone’s correct pronouns are multiple sets of pronouns, the correct way to use those is to mix and switch between them? (Re: Gerard Way Wikipedia page) Jaysbaddecisions (talk) 23:24, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
- I did not say they were inconsistent, I was simply sticking to the note that states "This article uses he/him for consistency", given that Way is more referred to as a He rather than a They (he even points out in the tweet that is cited that he prefers he/they instead of they/them). Its a similar thing on articles like Elliot Page and Chella Man. Gavetheman555 (talk) 23:35, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
- Just because it’s commonly done, doesn’t mean it’s correct (socially or grammatically). Elliot Page is also often misgendered and deadnamed, does that mean his wikipedia page should reflect that? No, because those aren’t his pronouns or name and i’d argue their wikipedia page also should use both he and they pronouns since those are the pronouns he’s stated he uses. Any argument that a certain set/s of pronouns are confusing is a common transphobic piece of propaganda; if it is something that is genuinely confusing, the best way to get used to and understand it, is to be exposed to it. - Hey, I wanted to reach out and apologize a little bit. After re-reading that review, I didn't like the attitude I had that night. I feel like I came off as condescending at times and consequently slightly uncivil. I was tired, trying to finish an unfinished review that I let go way overdue, and I let the fan in me get offended and cloud my language. I should not have taken that personally. If there's any way you're interested in improving the article, let me know, I'd be happy to give you any help. There was just too much to do for me to reasonably keep that open. mftp dan oops 01:34, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for reaching out! I personally didn't take any offense so there's no worry there, but I'm really glad you left this follow-up response. If I'm gonna be honest I was starting to question if that met the criteria or not, and was considering on pulling it till you came along (hence why I left a thank you for the fail edit). I don't have plans to re-nominate that but if you ever wanna clean it up yourself (since I do recall you planned making it a GA in the past) I'll totally let you take the chance! Don't feel pressured because you failed it, I didn't take any offense at all, take care!! :) Gavetheman555 (talk) 01:46, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- I felt bad for not giving more of some help in the right direction and feared that maybe the thanks was a "thanks for ripping me to shreds", but I'm glad everything is good over here. Honestly, what I incorrectly recalled being there, I believed was closer than what I now know is actually present. Past the critical reception expansion and writing, I'm not sure I have quite that much drive in me for a while. The review helped me highlight some things I definitely would do, though, so thank you for bringing that to light, I suppose. It'll be a good reference point for anyone to go off of. mftp dan oops 02:56, 13 August 2026 (UTC)

Good article nominations RfC
[edit source]Hi Gavetheman555,
There is an ongoing Request for Comment (RfC) at Wikipedia:Good article nominations/August 2026 RfC, which you may be interested in because in the past year, you have nominated or reviewed more than one good article nomination. This message has also been sent to all subscribers to the Good Article Gazette. The RfC contains many proposals (33 at the time of writing), which are split into the following categories: nominators, reviewers, reviews, volunteer roles, reviewing initiatives, and others. However, you are more than welcome to add any proposals of your own that you wish to put to the community.
By the end of September, all the proposals will have been closed by an uninvolved editor, either as a consensus for one of the options or with no consensus. At this point, editors will be invited again to develop these proposals into coherent policy and implement them.
Thank you for your contributions to the good articles project, and I look forward to your input! (in solidarity), JacobTheRox(talk|contributions) 16:02, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
DYK for Submarine (2010 film)
[edit source]On 13 August 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Submarine (2010 film), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that, during the production of Submarine, director Richard Ayoade insisted on using a 35 mm camera for filming after nobody on the crew wanted to use it? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Submarine (2010 film). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (Submarine (2010 film)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

She Said She Said
[edit source]Hello, Gavetheman555! I'll just tell you that after some changes to the prose, "She Said She Said" will pass the good article nomination without difficulty. And to confirm, you do know that JG66 is the chief author of the article, right? You are eligible to nominate the article, of course, but I don't think it'd be right to claim it your own. DannyRogers800 (talk) 21:53, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hey Danny! I'm aware JG66 is the primary author and I obviously do not wish to take all the credit for mostly their work. I withdrew it because depending on when it would get reviewed, I would fear it would interfere with my real life plans and therefor wouldn't get it completed. If plans change however, and depending on how many stuff needs fixing, I might re-nominate it within the next week / possibly within the next few days. I appreciate you for reaching out :) Gavetheman555 (talk) 22:05, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, you're welcome! Whenever you feel comfortable, we'll find someone to review it. DannyRogers800 (talk) 22:19, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hello again. About the note divulging Fonda's retelling of what happened during the LSD trip.... the source may be poor, but I don't think that really matters. It's a primary source, and if Fonda in fact said those words, they're as good as any reprinting of them on a top Beatles tome. I don't know what you think about this. DannyRogers800 (talk) 11:58, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- Are we sure theres not a better source for it? I don't mind if it gets added back but I would prefer if a timestamp was added. Gavetheman555 (talk) 12:18, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- I'll add the timestamp; I really couldn't find a better source, which makes sense since Fonda uttered that statament in a podcast.... unlikely to be reproduced elsewhere. Also, is the Daily Beast suitable for naming song genres; it's sometimes not recommended as per the Perennial Sources list. DannyRogers800 (talk) 20:43, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- I haven't seen it be used for a genre source before, but it's not outright considered unreliable, it might be a "depending on context" type of thing. You can remove it if you want to but if you find a better source for psychedelic pop id say to replace it with that. Gavetheman555 (talk) 21:04, 20 August 2026 (UTC)

Also, is the Daily Beast suitable for naming song genres; it's sometimes not recommended as per the Perennial Sources list. DannyRogers800 (talk) 20:43, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- Are we sure theres not a better source for it? I don't mind if it gets added back but I would prefer if a timestamp was added. Gavetheman555 (talk) 12:18, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
