Hello
Thank you for your thanks! I had forgotten I had done that. I don’t know if you have just started, or if you have edited here before from an IP address, but I have added some useful links (above). I notice you edited the Alii nui of Molokai page by deleting the repetitions (which is fine), but you also deleted a link to a source of information. It is better not to do that, or to delete material which is referenced, so I have restored it (the link, not the text). It is also a good idea to add an edit summary, especially with large deletions, so that reviewers know what you have done. If you have any queries about this, please contact me on my talk page. Otherwise, happy editing! Moonraker12 (talk) 17:43, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your note:
To answer your first question, I don’t know much about Hawaii, my edits on the subject were mostly in passing. However there is a Hawaii WikiProject for anyone who is interested in Hawaiian subjects, with current tasks and articles needing attention.
Secondly, On the redirect for Hiliamakani I’m OK with creating it, if you feel it is necessary, but currently it is a redlink with only one relevant incoming link. Is it likely to be an article, or to acquire any more links? If not, then a redirect could end up being redundant. Other options might be unlinking the name at the Hualani page, or adding the page link as a pipe (viz. [[Kaniuhu#Early_life_and_marriage|Hiliamakani]]). But if you still want it posted, let me know. Fair enough, if you feel she is notable/plan to do an article on her: Done. Regards, Moonraker12 (talk) 14:25, 28 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message (sorry for the delay in replying!). I have to say I don’t know much about editing on Commons; I know if a article is deleted on WP it can be restored for a short period for improvements; also that it leaves a page saying when it was deleted and who by/who to ask about that: But I can’t find any such page on Commons for this title. I do know that the main reason for deletions on Commons are for copyright issues, so unless you have a way to remedy that, it probably won’t be restorable. Can you remember what the problem was with the file? Moonraker12 (talk) 14:54, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
