New page reviewer granted

[edit]

Hi TNM101, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.

This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:

You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 17:34, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Template linking

[edit]

Hi TNM101, when linking templates in talk posts, like this one, the easiest way to link them is to place "tl" and a pipe (|) after the opening curly brackets. For example, type {{tl|GOCEstartce}} to render {{GOCEstartce}}. This saves the bother of typing out "nowiki" tags. If you already knew this, please ignore me! Oh wow, I didn't know that existed. Tysm TNM101 (in solidarity · chat) 09:46, 11 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Guild of Copy Editors – September 2026 Newsletter

[edit]
Guild of Copy Editors – September 2026 Newsletter

Hello, and welcome to the September newsletter, a quarterly digest of Guild activities since June.

Election news: Project coordinators play an important role in our WikiProject. Following the mid-year Election of Coordinators, we welcomed TNM101 to the coordinator team. Dhtwiki remains as lead coordinator, and Miniapolis, Mox Eden and GoldRomean return as coordinators. We said goodbye to Wikieditor662 and thank them for their service. If you'd like to help out behind the scenes, please consider taking part in our December election  watchlist our ombox for updates. Information about the role of coordinators can be found here.

Reviewing system: The Guild is adopting a new system of scoring copy edit reviews. A point will be given for each review, and barnstars for reviewing will be awarded. These changes will take effect from this month's drive, and we encourage experienced copy editors to sign up for reviewing. For more details, see here.

June 2026 blitz: 18 of the 20 editors who signed up for the June 2026 Copy Editing Blitz copy edited a total of 69,606 words comprising 30 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.

July 2026 drive: 30 of the 44 editors who signed up for the July 2026 Backlog Elimination Drive copy edited a total of 531,346 words comprising 252 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.

August 2026 Blitz: 13 of the 16 editors who signed up for the August 2026 Copy Editing Blitz copy edited a total of 192,712 words comprising 64 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.

September 2026 Drive: Sign up here to earn barnstars in our month-long, in-progress September Backlog Elimination Drive.

Progress report: As of 23:47, 13 September 2026 (UTC), GOCE copyeditors have processed 207 requests since 1 January, and the backlog of tagged articles stands at 1,511 articles.

Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we do without you! Cheers from your GOCE coordinators.

To discontinue receiving GOCE newsletters, please remove your name from our mailing list.

Question about an article you reviewed

[edit]

Hello, you reviewed an article I worked on last month:

Draft:Brian Zane

Thank you for doing so. It was denied, so I plan on working on it again. You denied it, with it being stated that the article wasn't "supported by reliable sources." Does this mean I should look for more sources from major publications to add, or should I remove sources I used such as facebook and youtube videos? I do have quite a few sources from the likes of Fightful, Rolling Stone, and local newspapers. So I wasn't sure if I just needed to remove the less good resources or somthing else.

Thanks in advance! The Okay-At-Best Mr. IS (talk) 18:37, 14 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

@The Okay-At-Best Mr. IS, yes, you need to remove references to youtube and facebook except in cases where you need to state that he was a part of a video or anything such. TNM101 (in solidarity · chat) 13:14, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

August 2026 AfC backlog drive barnstars

[edit]
The Articles for Creation Barnstar
This is awarded to TNM101 for accumulating more than 210.5 points during the August 2026 AfC backlog drive. Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge and dedication; together, we reviewed over 12,700 drafts during the drive and brought the 3+ month backlog down to just a single week, which we couldn't have done it without you. Ai+ moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Ai+. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Thilsebatti (talk) 04:04, 16 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thanks for your contributions. I just noticed that you are a NPP under probation and seems like you are doing a good job. But I came across this article which should not have been reviewed. Could you please explain the rationale behind marking this article as reviewed. Regards. Thilsebatti (talk) 04:07, 16 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
