Add topicAccidental edit
[edit]Hi, thanks for reverting my accidental edit.
I was opening the article to help translate it into Bengali Wikipedia, but I unintentionally published an incomplete edit by mistake. I didn't notice it until afterward. Sorry for the disruption, and thanks for fixing it. Borhan (talk) 14:51, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
Blanca Soto
[edit]Born 5 January 1979 https://www.listal.com/blanca-soto 90nikos (talk) 16:16, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
- @90nikos: - This is a WP:USERGENERATED page (see the 'edit page' button) on a site for creating lists - I do not think it is a reliable source. Dates of birth are a sensitive piece of personal information per WP:BLP and specifically WP:DOB, and sourcing standards for them are more stringent. Do you have any other sources for the birthdate? Waxworker (talk) 00:58, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Waxworker, thank you for your note regarding Listal as a WP:USERGENERATED source. Despite your clear explanation, the same pattern of adding this source for DOB on Blanca Soto has continued. I also noticed that you correctly reverted the addition, as using an unreliable source for birthdates violates WP:BLP. AriuCH (talk) 20:10, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
the Ryan Adult vandal
[edit]Hey Waxworker, I recently made a long-term abuse page on that Ryan Adult user who never stops going on and on about me and has lately been threatening you to close your account. You might want to keep an eye on the pages he vandalises and make sure to report any temporary IPs or standard IP he uses. I'm getting tired of him bullying me. Luigitehplumber (talk) 23:48, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
- @LTPHarry: - I'm sorry that they've been harassing you. A few articles relevant to this are on my watchlist. I generally try not to engage much with this kind of disruption - I think revert, block, ignore is the best policy when dealing with this. While obviously useful for reporting purposes, I think LTA dossiers reward their desire for attention/recognition and are a double-edged sword in that regard. Waxworker (talk) 00:49, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- Ryan Adult hassles me on other wikis as well and uses usernames based on made-up companies I created ( IME Entertainment, CWP Entertainment, etc.), and it’s gotten to the point that he pretends to be me despite the fact he’s not that intelligent. I was the one who originally called him Cloudco Vandal and he’s been using that name since, admitting he is indeed a vandal on Wikipedia and other wikis. I don’t even think Ryan Adult is his real name either.
- In all honesty, I think he’s just an obsessive fan of what I do on YouTube and is likely autistic like me. However, it doesn’t excuse his behaviour especially his snarky edit summaries aimed at me (I.e. "Harry Humble is starting to get quite angry to stop the Cloudco Vandal.") and his recent threats to you because he cannot get his own way on adding in nonsense to pages. I've lately been ignoring him because I start to believe he could be trolling me all this time. Luigitehplumber (talk) 00:57, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
Mariko Honda Birthdate
[edit]I try add her real birthdate from jawiki by Reliable sources, But why are you removed? because it's unsource or unreliable sources? (Here https://amuleto.jp/talents/honda-mariko.html) Tiamichaelnuksu1994 (talk) 08:18, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Tiamichaelnuksu1994: - I see that the linked agency profile lists birth month and day, but I don't think that listing birth month and day without a year is useful - this has also previously been discussed at Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Archive_230#DOB_but_without_year?. @~2026-39539-71:'s addition also created a cite error, as a reference with the name "amuleto_pro" did not exist. Also, for future reference, by default it sends a ping whenever someone edits your talk page - your edits to your message made 7 pings. Waxworker (talk) 16:26, 16 July 2026 (UTC)

[edit]This information is already up on the page for Karl Leyser (her husband) with a citation if that is sufficient evidence. If not, I shall procure and provide more if you request. Signifierofasignifier42 Signifierofasignifier42 (talk) 23:44, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Signifierofasignifier42: - The source given there only mentions Crispin once on p.623, at least in the linked excerpt, and doesn't mention them working in television or Channel 4. Are there pages from the full text that verify this? Waxworker (talk) 23:57, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- https://www.c21media.net/news/channel-4-parts-ways-with-la-acquisitions-and-coproduction-consultant-crispin-leyser/ here’s another source. Signifierofasignifier42 (talk) 00:04, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Signifierofasignifier42: - This ref discusses his work in television, but doesn't mention him being related to either Henrietta or Karl. I think that a source discussing both is necessary to show that this is the same person, and not someone unrelated, as well as to show that they are notable - per WP:BLPNAME, the names of non-notable family members of article subjects are normally not included due to privacy concerns. Waxworker (talk) 00:14, 20 July 2026 (UTC)

LithTech
[edit]Based on my edits getting reverted, can you take a look at the LithTech page. Many of my edits were based on what it says and if my category edits are wrong, then some of the information on this page is likely also wrong. Rtim20 (talk) 16:08, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Rtim20: - I've removed many of the entries on the list from the article as they're unsourced. As I said on your talk page, other Wikipedia articles are an unreliable source per WP:CIRCULAR. The subject of categories should be discussed and sourced in the article per WP:CATVER. URLs in edit summaries are not the same as citations - Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources, and similarly to Wikipedia, Mobygames is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:VG/RS. Castle Explorer cover art
[edit]Hello @Waxworker! I would like to work on the article for Castle Explorer, and I noticed you uploaded some cover art. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if I replace it with the square alternative cover (version or )? Personally I think that square cover is more visually interesting and also clearer at smaller resolutions. What do you think? Would you be okay with this? — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 00:20, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Chao Garden: - I personally don't have a preference aesthetics-wise, but per MOS:VGCOVERART "The identifying art should be from the game's original release" - the Giant Bomb listing says that the square cover is the original box art (obviously since this is a WP:USERGENERATED wiki taking this with a grain of salt), but if this is the case, the square cover should be used instead since it'd be the original. Waxworker (talk) 00:30, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, I think the MobyGames version (the Scholastic release) wouldn't fit that MOS:VGCOVERART criteria. But that first square version from GiantBomb may fit? I am honestly not sure which cover (the cover you uploaded, versus the square version) was original; it may be the case that they are both original. I did a little research and was not able to find much definitive information. It generally seems like the square version is more commonly used online, but that's not solid evidence. Given this ambiguity, are you still okay if I swapped the covers (and requested deletion of your version)? — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 22:19, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Chao Garden: - Swapping the covers seems fine. Waxworker (talk) 22:22, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

[edit]About that revert, you do realize that he DID worked on the unsold pilot, so therefore, it should belong in the filmography. You didn't NEED to revert it. You could've just remove the rest and keep the unsold pilot in the filmography instead. Also, I fixed the minor grammatical errors, so those didn't need to be reverted either. Don't that again. Polka Dot Door
[edit]Unfortunately, Facebook shouldn’t be used as a reliable source. The official Facebook page for The Polka Dot Door’s post was my only proof that Ken hosted Polka Dot Door from 1973-81. Nor can I use Fandom as a source. ~2026-40702-36 (talk) 21:45, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
Mito Kōmon
[edit]What nonsense. You obviously object to that addition in particular, since there are only 4 damn cites on the entire page and none at all in the section I added to. You'd have to delete most of the article if you insisted on citations for all of it. Or maybe you've just set yourself up as the un-logged-in edit police.
Either way, be honest about it. I don't mind someone asking for a cite, but don't give me some BS story about it. Or just ask for the cite instead of going around reverting good faith edits. Anyway, you win. Dumbass edit wars are one reason why I stopped editing Wikipedia in the first place, and you did a great job of reminding me. ~2026-37580-67 (talk) 06:32, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-37580-67: - Other unsourced content being on the article is an issue, and I do not think that it is a reason to add more unsourced content, and I've removed some of the other unsourced content from the section. Do you have a reliable source discussing Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy's use of the theme? WP:A&M/RS has a (non-exhaustive) list that may be helpful to consult of reliable/unreliable sources related to anime and manga that have previously been discussed by other editors. Vandalism at Xilam page
[edit]I reverted the vandalism of user ~2026-34921-22 at the Xilam template and that user vandalized the Xilam page once again with misinformation about Alvin and the Chipmunks was produced by them, which is not. I suggest to ban their IP address already MariaSantanaSilva (talk) 15:06, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- @MariaSantanaSilva: - I am not an administrator, and cannot block anyone. I've given them a level 3 warning for addition of unsourced content - if they continue after another warning I think a WP:ANI report would be apt. You can also warn them if they continue, you do not need to be an admin to use warning templates: Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace has a list of warning templates you can copy, or you could use the tool WP:TWINKLE. The Chica Show again
[edit]The temporary user is at it again adding unsourced information about Fox being involved with The Chica Show. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 00:26, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- @FilmandTVFan28: - If they re-add it again, another request for page protection I think would be apt. So far only one this month, so despite how sustained this has been I don't think there's been enough recent disruption for protection currently, though in my opinion there was when you had reported it previously and was declined. Waxworker (talk) 01:04, 23 July 2026 (UTC)

Amanda Peet's Debut
[edit]her debut on the show called one life to live in 1995 when she cast as the waitress layle. I only edited and added it because that's her first appearance on the show but I did my research on it so I saw it on YouTube... that's the truth Mrjohnny758 (talk) 03:35, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Mrjohnny758: - Youtube is a generally unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:RSPYT unless the channel is that of a reliable source, e.g. something like an official ABC channel, or that of a news source such as the BBC or CNN. If she is credited, the episode's credits themselves may be cited using Template:Cite episode, but non-primary sourcing would be better. Other Wikipedia articles/wikilinks aren't a source, but One Life to Live also doesn't mention the "Main role" of Layle. Episode credits may be used to verify that she was in the show, but secondary sourcing would be necessary to describe the prominence of the role. Waxworker (talk) 01:53, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

Robert Stadlober Wikipedia page
[edit]Hello Waxworker, I tried to add a reliable source yesterday via using a citation from IMDb, but I’ve been told it was not allowed. What other articles am I allowed to use as citations? I ask as I wanted to add an entry on Robert Stadlober’s page regarding the fact that he played Goebbels in the 2024 film “Goebbels and the Fuhrer”, but I saw that it was removed as I used IMDb as a source and was told that that was “unreliable”. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Nonyondertheawesomesauce (talk) 09:51, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Nonyondertheawesomesauce: - I see that @Geemial: added the entry on Robert Stadlober sourced to IMDB, not you. Is Geemial also your account? If this is the case, you should declare the connection somewhere (e.g. both userpages) per WP:ALTNOTIFY. Regarding sourcing, if he is credited the credits of the film themselves may be cited using Template:Cite AV media, though secondary sourcing would be better, and WP:FILMSOURCES has a (non-exhaustive) list of reliable/unreliable sources related to film that have previously been discussed by other editors that may be helpful to consult. About a new image for the Infobox on Pokémon: Johto League Champions
[edit]Hey, Waxworker, I just found a new image of the complete collection DVD cover of Pokémon season 4 for the Infobox of Pokémon: Johto League Champions from Modish Geek:

- Better, while Fandom is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:FANDOM for cite templates, it is still a reliable source for file sources, so here is a new one, it is a better quality version of the complete collection DVD cover of season 4 for the Infobox on Pokémon: Johto League Champions:

reverted edit/citation question
[edit]Hi, this is in response to an edit I made that you reverted several months ago because it lacked proper citation. I un-reverted the edit because the credit I added, like those already on the page, is included on the movie's IMDb and AFI pages; if this is incorrect, I would love some help (or just a link to a relevant help page!) knowing what credits on reliable sources like those require citation on Wikipedia and which do not. Thanks for your help as I work on getting up to speed as an editor! Sakana (talk) 08:34, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Sakana: - IMDB is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:IMDB, but AFI is a reliable source. If you're referring to your addition to Death in Small Doses (1957 film), you haven't re-added the role? Uncredited roles must be sourced, and external links at the bottom of the page are not the same as citations - Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources that may be helpful. I see that AFI lists Shayne here, but also lists a a lot of other uncredited roles that aren't listed. Cast sections also generally aren't exhaustive - is Shayne's role in the plot of the film important? Waxworker (talk) 23:46, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
Remove any edit that I make
[edit]Do you remove all edits that people make? DeclanClarke (talk) 01:06, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
- @DeclanClarke: - No, but Mega Man: Upon a Star is on my WP:WATCHLIST, meaning changes to the article appear in the list. The addition was unsourced, and full song lyrics are generally not included in articles due to being copyrighted/it can be excessive detail, so something like Mary Had a Little Lamb lists full lyrics but Paparazzi (Lady Gaga song) only quotes a small segment. I also do not think that the lyrics are WP:DUE as they are a small part of the OVA, but quoting a small part would be fine if reliable sources explicitly discuss it. Waxworker (talk) 05:42, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
The Buzz on Maggie
[edit]Hello Waxworker, I get why you removed the link to Chris Bowman (writer) from the The Buzz on Maggie article. But then, why didn't you also remove the one to writer Rachel Duguay? She's also unsourced. Real Sergent (talk) 12:30, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Real Sergent: - I was reverting @~2026-33542-94:'s unsourced addition of CBBC to networks in the infobox (diff) and your edit was also in the revert - I've restored the wikilink. Per MOS:TVEPISODE "Episode title, writers, directors, episode numbers, airdates, production codes, and viewership numbers must be reliably sourced, either from the opening/closing credits or from secondary sources", so it isn't great that the table is unsourced, but adding a wikilink to a pre-existing name seems fine. Your addition to the article Chris Bowman was unsourced though, and I've reverted it. Waxworker (talk) 14:47, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
Hey, I've been taking a stab at expanding/updating this GA that I know you were involved with a while back. Biggest thing is that I've found a lot that could cover a themes and analysis section. Otherwise the article is in decent shape, and was thinking about taking it to FAC at some point in the near future, but wanted to check on your opinion (seems like User:Cognissonance is no longer active so you're the only other major contributor.) Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 14:07, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- @David Fuchs: - The extent of my edits to the article is just running IAbot on it and adding a category a few years ago, and I have no experience with bringing articles to GA/FA, but looking over the article I do see a few things that I think could be improved upon. In the infobox, the 'Designers', 'Programmers' and 'Writers' fields have an excessive number of people listed and also have a few names that are not discussed in the body of the article (James Benson, Patrick Ewing, Paolo Surricchio, William Armstrong) - Template:Infobox video game's guidance for the writers field is to "List no more than three people", and for programmers and designers "The popular names"/leads should be listed. MOS:VGREC encourages giving more of an overview summarizing what critics said overall, and to "Stack similar claims", rather than saying everything that each source says one after the other, and I think there should be a paragraph discussing critics' views on the game's character development, better grouping what Polygon, GamesRadar, and GameSpot said on that front. The 'Accolades' section also only has a table and no prose. Waxworker (talk) 14:59, 13 August 2026 (UTC)

- @TLhuynh97: - MyTV Super seems like a fine source - Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources. Youtube is a generally unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:RSPYT unless the channel that uploaded the video is that of a reliable source, e.g. something like a company officially behind production of the series, or that of a news organization such as the BBC. Zig & Sharko (2010-present) Season 4 episodes

If you don't leave me to edit and to correct the remaining episodes of the fourth season of Zig & Sharko, sorry but I'm going to blocking your account for reverting the remaining episodes of the fourth season of Zig & Sharko. - @~2026-45641-60: - It is unclear to me what you're referring to - this TA has never edited List of Zig & Sharko episodes or Zig & Sharko - do you have a previous TA or named account? Regarding some of your other edits however, I've reverted them as they're unsourced - Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources. Waxworker (talk) 03:40, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
- Waxworker. You cannot revert the remaining episodes of the fourth season of Zig & Sharko (2010-present) as unsourced. Reverted Change
[edit]Hi, you recently reverted a change I made on the Coláiste_Iognáid page. The reason was due to a lack of citation; but the section itself is already missing a citation and looking for one. Since the topic relates to historical school activities, there maybe isn't a great source.
However, the changes I made (which you reverted) were simply improving the quality of the section which primarily meant adding links in the plays section so they can be clicked through to view the relevant article for the play. Your revert doesn't actually changes the fact that the section is uncited, and it still remains uncited today, so I feel it was wrong to revert a change which upgraded the quality of the article without adding anymore additional unsubstantiated claims. Please voluntarily revert back your change if you agree, thanks. ~2026-45381-24 (talk) 19:15, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-45381-24: - Your edit wasn't only adding wikilinks to existing unsourced content, it added more unsourced content - the claim that children at a secondary school performed a musical based on The Human Centipede is incredibly dubious. I've removed the rest of the unsourced section. Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources. Waxworker (talk) 08:45, 23 August 2026 (UTC)
- There are sources available which show the musicals took place, I think removing the section entirely isn't good either.
- https://www.colaisteiognaid.ie/extra-curricular/school-musical/ ~2026-45381-24 (talk) 16:21, 23 August 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-45381-24: - This would be fine as a source, but I don't think that there is enough here to support a dedicated section - a brief sentence along the lines of 'the school performs a musical annually' under the 'Sport and extracurricular activities' section using it as a reference would be apt. The linked source doesn't list any previously performed musicals. Waxworker (talk) 19:35, 24 August 2026 (UTC)
- The musicals for each year can all be found on YouTube. I don't think there's much point in citing every single one of them, maybe a discussion on the talk page could cover it (let me know what you think).
- Eg we see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4grlu_GqXc
- I can dig up the plays for each individual year. All of the students of the school will have recordings at home as the plays were sold each year and we can get an upload for any of the missing years. I think it's valuable to include the names of the plays on the page as many of them were clever adaptations to original musicals and it really is a major part of the school's identity. ~2026-45381-24 (talk) 23:02, 24 August 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-45381-24: - Youtube is a generally unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:RSPYT, unless the channel that uploaded the video is that of a reliable source, e.g. that of a news organization, or possibly an official Youtube channel of the school, though overrelying on primary sources is a concern in that case. The linked video was uploaded by "throw away" and doesn't appear reliable. Regardless I do not think that a long list of musicals is WP:DUE if the only sourcing that exists is Youtube videos. I believe that a discussion on the talk page would be apt. Waxworker (talk) 02:21, 26 August 2026 (UTC)

Found the source for last airing of iCarly on TeenNick
[edit]"I know you see, somehow the world has changed for me!" Here is the reliable source found for article, List of programs broadcast by TeenNick showing the last time TeenNick showed iCarly. "TeenNick - TV Schedule & Listings Guide - TV Insider". Archived from the original on August 23, 2026. Retrieved August 28, 2026. 08:09, 29 August 2026 (UTC) AllanBaoRedux (talk) 08:09, 29 August 2026 (UTC)
- @AllanBaoRedux: - I think that using TV guide listings in this way is WP:SYNTH, as it doesn't explicitly say that the show will no longer be aired on the channel after the last date it appears on the archive of the listing, however much of the article is already cited to listings like this and I'm not very invested in the subject - I think that ultimately it's better than no source, though I think that what would be best is omitting an end date entirely if the only sources for this are TV guide listings. Waxworker (talk) 03:25, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
- Well, I can agree about TV guide listings may be WP:SYNTH not explicitly saying that iCarly will no longer be aired on TeenNick after the 8/24/2026, because even with that source, it is subject to change as iCarly still airs sporadically and it is actually alternating with other Nickelodeon sitcoms.

Wicked Monsters Blast! and Citing Video Games
[edit]Hello, thank you for your correction on the Wicked Monsters Blast! wiki. I understand that I did not provide any reliable sources with my edit, and I apologise for my inexperience. I am a kid so I may struggle a bit, but I would love to help Wikipedia. I own a copy of WMB myself and I had gotten the information from the manual that was released with the video game disc. Is that possible to cite, and if so, how? I only see books and websites cited on here, so I wasn't really sure how to incorporate that. KnightHelmet (talk) 22:50, 1 September 2026 (UTC)
- @KnightHelmet: - The manual would be a reliable source, and may be cited using Template:Cite book, though secondary sourcing (e.g. reviews of the game from reliable sources - Metacritic lists a few reviews that could be used, though finding copies of the magazines may be difficult) would be better. WP:CITEPAGE has guidance regarding citing different pages of the same reference, and WP:REFNAME has guidance regarding how to use named references to cite the same reference multiple times.
- MOS:VGGAMEPLAY has guidance regarding writing gameplay sections, which should be written with the assumption "that the reader has heard of a video game but has never played one. Introduce the game in terms of the player's actions and goals" - the table of missions I believe would be better in prose rather than a table, and written in your own words - the hooks used in the descriptions such as "We don't need any charity, kiddo! Let's stop him from feeding the hippos." don't really describe well what you actually do in the missions. In general it's better to write content in your own words rather than WP:OVERQUOTING. what the hell dude
[edit]no srsly, what the hell....what wqs the point of deeming my relation betwwn bruce and dent as unnecessary as let's face it: analysis would show that every villain in this boook seems to serve as an allegory by which we explore batman's depthful charcaterisation $atyaki (talk) 18:58, 5 September 2026 (UTC)
- @$atyaki: - Per WP:PLOTANALYSIS, "Plot summaries that rely on the work as a primary source should provide a straightforward account of the plot, free from interpretation" - analysis should be sourced and in a separate section, and your edit removed info regarding Dent's transformation into Two-Face and introduced grammar and spelling errors, e.g. "in retortion on the chopper he and men had been in. his men thus got bombed while dent himself got speacilly abused by batman". If you have a reliable source for the analysis, Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources. Waxworker (talk) 04:55, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
- but literature, art , novels are highly subjective ! based on your comment it can be deduced that the author himself would be able to provide an appropaite analysis ! $atyaki (talk) 11:14, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
- @$atyaki: - Straightforward plot detail is different from analysis such as comparing two characters to eachother. Waxworker (talk) 07:49, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
- but the comparision w=is waht th author had intended as it could be interpreted every villain reflecting batman's ideologies! $atyaki (talk) 09:21, 8 September 2026 (UTC)

Question about unsourced information in List of programmes broadcast by CBeebies
[edit]Hello Waxworker, thank you for the note on 8 August 2026 about my edits to List of programmes broadcast by CBeebies. I understand the need for reliable sourcing. My concern is that a number of existing entries on the page also appear to be unsourced and, in some cases, factually incorrect. I was trying to correct those, but I appreciate that replacement information also needs to be verifiable.
I’ll continue looking for reliable published sources. I’m also fairly new to editing Wikipedia, so I’m still getting familiar with the sourcing and editing conventions. In the meantime, is it appropriate to remove clearly incorrect and unsourced information, or would you prefer that I raise individual cases on the article talk page? Creative Media Pro (talk) 11:56, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Creative Media Pro: - Unsourced content may be challenged and removed at any time - you don't necessarily need to start a talk page discussion before removing content, though if you remove large amounts of content without edit summaries explaining why, someone may revert you as large chunks of an article being removed without explanation may look like vandalism. In terms of reliable sources related to children's television/cartoons, I would recommend Kidscreen, Animation Magazine, and Animation World Network. Waxworker (talk) 08:04, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, Waxworker, that’s really helpful. A lot of the entries I’m looking at are UK-commissioned and produced live-action factual children’s programmes rather than animation, and some of them appear to have aired only in the UK with little or no press coverage, so reliable sourcing can be quite difficult. I’ll only add new information where I can support it with published sources, but my professional knowledge of this area does help me identify existing unsourced details that are inaccurate. Your explanation about removing unsourced material with a clear edit summary is therefore very useful. If you know of any other good sources that cover UK children’s factual or live-action programming, I’d be very grateful. Creative Media Pro (talk) 10:45, 7 September 2026 (UTC)

Re: Damien Leone – sourcing feedback
[edit]Hi @Waxworker, thanks for the note. I’ve restored the previous expansion and addressed the issues you raised:
• Removed the unsourced height and education claims.
• Softened and properly sourced the “self-taught” statement using Leone’s own comments from a 2019 panel.
• Added citations (including a 2022 Rue Morgue interview) supporting the practical effects work.
Please let me know if anything still needs adjusting. Appreciate the feedback. VanReaver (talk) 05:45, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
Missing major Bleach Soul Reapers and cast
[edit]All the sources are from BTVA: https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/tv-shows/Bleach/ and https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/tv-shows/Bleach-Thousand-Year-Blood-War/ Please return it to my edit. All the cast members are accurate, I checked the episode credits at the end too, BTVA is right, and the character updates for Okikiba and Yayahara are based on the anime and manga. Do not remove the characters that were supposed to be there for over a decade now at least, like Akon, or Shino, or Kurumadani. Also many of the cast listed, that is accurate and true like what I wrote, has stood there without citations for many years now. Return them please, I just don't know how to turn the source into a citation, which is why I explained in the edit summary ~2026-39181-64 (talk) 20:14, 13 September 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-39181-64: - The character descriptions added (Yuyu Yayahara, Ashido Kano, Akon, Zennosuke Kurumadani, Shino Madarame) are unsourced - Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources. The BTVA listings only verify the voice actors, not the information about the characters themselves. WP:A&M/ORS has a (non-exhaustive) list of reliable/unreliable sources related to anime and manga that have previously been discussed by other editors, Template:Cite episode may be used to cite an episode of the anime itself, and Template:Cite book may be used to cite the manga. Secondary sourcing (e.g. something like coverage in Anime News Network) is preferable to primary sources such as the anime/manga itself. Waxworker (talk) 06:38, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
- the information about the characters is from the anime and manga. They are not main characters to get articles about in ANN, they are however, major recurring characters with relevance to the plot and the whole of Bleach, since the beginning of the show (Akon, Zennosuke), or recurring in this arc (Shino), or recurring in a specially dedicated arc for Ashido who could not appear in the manga, but I wrote the reference from which volume and page Kubo mentioned him, or straight up new to the new manga chapter Kubo released. I watched the anime, I can confirm what is written there for all others. I read the Hell arc chapter, I can confirm what is written for Yuyu. My friend has also added voice actor references today for them ~2026-39181-64 (talk) 13:48, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
