I haven't written in this for so long! I'm bad at it. I have been using my pretty iconspace, though. Though a lot of times I keep with my default icon because it's my default icon and people recognize it/assosiate it with me.

I think I might make a "so I have said, so it shall be" or some kind of boss-lady icon for OI for at least some variety.

I have been requesting a lot of music on teh_music and getting tons of new songs which makes me happy, and I've found a program that burns CDs and actually works for me, and went out and bought a ton of blank CDs, paper sleeves to write the tracks on, and a nice leather CD folder thingy that holds 48. I had another CD case, still have it, it's blue and plastic and holds 20. The problem with it was that it was round, and therefore had no stackable abilities.

We got a movie pass thing at Blockbuster (which I live next door to), $30 something for a month, as many movies as you can rent, only you can do only two at a time. I can walk to it, but there's a little mini field I cut across between the complex and Blockbuster and it's a hot walk, so that's the not so great part.

Miss Congeniality was very fun and even it's sequel wasn't disappointing. Josie & The Pussycats really is underrated, as long as you don't take it seriously. There is not only a Balto II, but a Balto III. Haven't seen III yet, but II was nice. Had wolfiness. I haven't yet seen Shark Tale, but I probably will soon. Sleepover is good, so is Mean Girls, Raise Your Voice, and Raising Helen. Sleeping Beauty is very iconable and I really should hit cap_it for caps of it to make into bases. Ummm. I watched more than just that, but at the moment it's all I can currently remember.

We got 26 entries for the most recent contest, and they were so much better than the craptacular funny icontest ones. Just finished making the awards, so I'm on the burned out side. I still need to write up the next contest info (favorite lyric quote won both first and second choice in the poll I put up).

My toenails are currently bright pink and sparkly. I took some cute pictures of Sunshine but haven't yet put them on the computer and resized and uploaded them. Cats are so photogenic.

I'm currently reading Tamsin, by Peter S. Beagle.

I haven't spent much time interacting with anyone online, and for the most part, the interaction that did happen was OI-related. Dad's gym has a class for teens to learn about the equipment and stuff, and it has a good teacher, and he signed me up for... eight sessions, I think. So that could be an opportunity to meet people.

The receptionist at the dentist's office was really nice the last time we went, and we ended up talking a lot. I mentioned my trek in Poster Land and how I couldn't draw but loved fantasy art and had all these images in my head. And the other day a package arrived. A poster. I have the 22nd of the 375 made. It has a really nice frame, too, very ornate looking.

It's an hourglass. On the top part of the hourglass is a sky - sun shining, clouds, rainbow arching. And then on the bottom is a castle, full of lovely turrets and towers. It even has a little lochness monster in the waters around the castle. And there are female angels (upper torso) engraved on the sides of the wood on the hourglass, on the top part, and little jewels in the wood.

It's very gorgeous and very detailed, and it makes me warm and fuzzy. The only problem is where to hang it, as I'm nearsighted and A) haven't yet gotten into the habit of glasses-wearing and B) my glasses act all blurry and weird around the computer, so most spots around the room wouldn't work. Possibly where my Extraordinary Pigeons calendar currently is, and then move the calendar to the left side of the wall.

For now, it lives in the living room and is pretty.

Aaaand that's my entry. Time to go get food and hope CiCi's isn't crowded with people.

*blush* Accidentally posted this on OI. Took me a minute to catch it.
