From One Crazy to Another

At the time I am writing this (2024), I am a 55 year old self-portrait photographer and professional artists' model for more than 27 years. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York but moved to France in 2015 to marry my soulmate. Last year, I added another feather in my creative cap as jewelry creator using wire, natural/synthetic stones and beads and I also wrote a short autobiography entitled "My Body Collective" to share how and why I chose the artistic path that I am on, the difficulties and abuse I endured throughout my life stemming from my appearance as an overweight girl and woman, and how I have taken all the bad experiences and either confronted or escaped them in my art.

Aside from my French husband, I am fairly isolated in France due to my own doing and the forest would be my second home. I have some physical difficulties as I get older, gaining weight again and menopause but when the artistic muse calls me, I do what I can in spite of those problems. I consider myself an open and caring, kind person and it is all I ask for in return in every aspect of my life. I DO NOT believe in tough love or aggressive/negatively dramatic behaviors!
