1) NO GODMODDING. Don't take control of anyone else's character, don't have another character do anything in your posts unless you're referring to something they did in their own posts, and don't tell - or suggest to - another player what they should be doing with their own character. 2) KEEP YOUR CHARACTERS IC. Just because this is a crack RP doesn't mean you don't have to take it seriously. 3) AT THIS TIME, THE MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR PUPPETS IS SEVEN. 4) KEEP YOUR CHARACTERS ACTIVE. If you're inactive for a month with no explanation, your character(s) will be up for adoption. Of course, if you need to take a hiatus, you'll have to make a mandatory post in the OOC comm at least 24 hours before you leave, explaining that you will be away and for how long. 5) BE COURTEOUS TO YOUR FELLOW PLAYERS. No flaming, no drama, no wank. This RP is meant to be fun - don't bring OOC problems into it. If you have a problem with another player, talk to them privately. 5a) Don't be afraid to contact the mods if things get rough. Additionally, we (the mods) will talk to you if you're rude. 6) USE PROPER GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION. Unless your character canonly doesn't speak that way, or there is a crack plot going on. 7) THERE IS NO RULE SEVEN. 8) ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT NOT IN EXCESS. Players can have up to three of their own, but they need detailed descriptions. Also, for every original character you decide to put in here, you'll have to have a character of an already published canon. If you only want to play your OC, we won't let you in. It would be a good idea to choose an already published character and play them consistently for a week or so before apping your OC. 9) NO DUPLICATES, EITHER. Even if a character from a book is completely different than his/her counterpart in a movie or spinoff. Check the Taken Character List before applying. 10) DO NOT BREAK OR DAMAGE ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOUR CHARACTER WITHOUT ASKING FIRST. Blowing up any part of the Building requires mod approval, because we want to be involved in any such destruction. The rules may be changed at any time. Not without warning, don't worry. Character's name: Fandom: Background: Describe the character and his/her personality If your character is an OC (and remember, you can't have more than three), you'll need to fill out this form: Character's full name: Gender: Age: Species: A few lines of physical description: History: (give a short summary of his/her life) Special Skills: Weaknesses: Likes: Dislikes: Hobbies: Describe his/her personality: We obviously can't reject the post based on the app being out of character, but if the character comes off as being like a Mary Sue to us, we'll reject you. And if you get accepted, but the character starts doing things that seem Sueish, we'll kick you out. Also, they must not have any relation to any existing canon character. The only possible way around this rule if is you talk to the mun of the character in question and they agree to it. That's probably unlikely, though, so you'd be better off creating a wholly original character.	Character LJ profiles must have the following: - Name (and the fandom they're from) - AIM/MSN/Yahoo name - Optional - Email address - Optional - Paragraph of description, whether or not it's from you, the player, or the character writes it himself. _________________________________ Fandom_Pawns is a multifandom RP, which means you can apply for any character from any fandom, so long as they are not a) alive b) dead but really existed at once point and c) religious figures. You can't app Jesus or Elvis, but you can app Zeus or The Burger King (though, really, we'd prefer the King to be a oneshot character). We allow characters from webcomics and various Internet memes. _________________________________ Advisories: - This RP is slash friendly. - It's also PG-13, so anything more than that has to go behind an LJ cut in one of the characters' journals. Your characters probably wouldn't have sex in a public part of the Building anyway. - There will be crack. - If you want to RP in IMs, that's fine, but Fandom Pawns is primarily LJ-based. You'll have to post a log in the OOC comm if you want your IM to be considered part of the game.
