Who doesn’t want to be popular?

Well, quite a lot of people, it turns out! Being well-liked, whether that’s by your classmates, your coworkers, or the general public, has its perks, but it’s not all fun and games. There’s a lot of pressure in needing to be someone that everyone can like, and you might find yourself hiding important parts of yourself. On the other hand, being unpopular has some serious downsides, too. Being liked by everyone might come with pressure, but being overlooked – or worse, disliked – by everyone can make your life miserable, even if no one acts on it.

Are your characters popular (in whatever setting they’re in)? How do they feel about that?
