Wife and I took in a Triple-A game today. Vegas 51s (Blue Jays) vs Sacramento RiverCats (Oakland A's). And the result was similar to the Big League Game.

Off to the Gym to work out and watch the game.

Who will make a more positive impact for their team this year Jason Bay or Manny Ramirez?

After July 3rd, do you think Manny comes back on a tear or does he come up a dud?

Those of you who think the Sox should have done more to keep Manny and were sad that we got Jason Bay for him, do you still feel this way?

From - http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/watchdog/blog/2009/05/jerry_remy_a_wellliked_red.html

Scott Boras, in an interview with Playboy, says that he warns young players a child can cost $2 million over the first 18 years. (Of course, that figure depends on the quality of the lawyer hired by the mother in question.) Here is the link. (Parental discretion advised. For the site. Not the interview.)

BTW, best wishes on a speedy recovery to Remy. What a shame.

Well Thursday I shaved my head in honor of the Baseball Gods and they have looked down on my offering with favor as the last 2 games were phenomenal. Let us pray to those Gods that the streak continues. Masterson has alot on his shoulders today A Streak, A Sweep, and a Win at Fenway. Here is to him.

I probably won't be on too much, as I will be watching the game, but may Tweet about it. Look for me on Twitter bigmikeyvegas.

Oh and Happy 100th Birthday Mr. Giddon. May you enjoy many more.

~M~
