Though I took a very long break from LJ as a whole to focus on keeping myself alive (yes, things got worse since my last post; never calmed down, never smoothed out), I think I can actually return now.
Once again, thank you to  suyorihikaru. You made me smile.
I am a little sad to see that, though others had prodded me by other means to keep this community alive, there was not a single response to the last drabble prompt.
While I understand wanting to keep the community alive...
thbogzdd, while I totally appreciate the thought and your offer, I will continue to try to bring life to this place - though I am very disappointed that responses have been low - even to the last prompt. I honestly don't see a reason to continue to post challenges/prompts if no one is going to respond. My Real Life Issues aside, Sun has been up for nearly a year now... with no responses at all.
For those of you who still read/follow this, should I continue posting new prompts? Or should I let the community go to thbogzdd? Or is it time to let it die as an archive of the handful of drabbles we have here?
My life has actually finally calmed down. My roommate and I are settled properly, both of us have new jobs that, while requiring rediculously long hours of commute right now, are good ones and much less stressful, don't require as much rediculous overtime and have us away from home for more than 14 hours per day. I no longer come home to fall into bed, wishing the world would swallow me whole, or would just go away and let me have more than 9 hours a day in my own home.
I can and am willing to actually post weekly challenge prompts again.
Now I'm asking you all if you think it's worth it. Do you want me to keep this up?

8:42 am - A Note from a Frazzled Moderator (And a new Challenge!)

First of all, those of you keeping this place alive, I thank you.
The past few months have been a literal HELL for me.
Work keeping me late, working 60 hours a week and only getting paid for 35 a week is not my cup of tea.
As it went on a month solid of this, it was suddenly decided I was no longer needed (I'm still all wtf?). So my position was eliminated.
For three weeks, I sat in a state of shock as my roommates moved out, and a new roommate moved here, struggling for a while to get a job here.
For a space of about a month, we had no idea how we were going to live.
And now we both have new jobs, we sign a lease on Thursday, hopefully will manage to afford bills and moving expenses somehow, and life will smooth out, I hope.
For now, I offer you a challenge.
Sun
No word limit. No word restrictions.
Let's see what we can do.
Note: I will likely be throwing entries at all of the prompts I've missed; as my brain begins to be able to handle fandom writing again ;)

Word Count: Are we only allowed 100, 200, or 300 words? And not any number in between? I PAINFULLY cut this down to just 100 words, because it didn't have enough to make it to 200. But otherwise I would have left it at 130 or something. The last few word cuts were so hard to make.

I hereby give you another challenge that is long long LONG overdue, as I was reminded by one of our faithful.. ;)
We had "Sweet Dreams" before.
... Now I want Nightmares. *grin*
Nightmares that range from 100-500 words, since nightmares don't often let themselves be short overwith quickly.
... And now.. I go be unconscious s'more since.. well.. my wisdom teeth are hurting. A lot.

There is a site called my-backgrounds.org that offers wallpapers and backgrounds as well as code to add them to LJ or MySpace backgrounds.
According to my source (chaobell):
They don't ask permission, give the creators credit, or put the images on their own servers, the code they give to put the stuff on their pages hotlinks all images, and their contact links don't work, among other things.

Several people have been replacing the images stolen with amusing "STOLEN ART" kind of files - and according to THIS:

.htaccess doesn't always do the trick.
Check the site - there are a lot of Fan-based images up there!

... NO!
... So the mod went through another holy crap dry spell and hiatus, emotional issues and then some...
but I'm back and back on track here.
And I have a new challenge.
We covered Dancing, Hands, Sins and I was GOING to start on Virtues next, but I'm going to wait on that.

ONE person posted during the time Lust was up, and that was a Wrath drabble.
.. ONE person posted Lust.. before it was up.
..... Man.. I thought Lust would shake things up a bit.
Granted, I didn't post anything either, but oddly enough I couldn't come up with anything that didn't turn itself into a much longer fic.
So I'm going to throw this out at you all:
