Has anyone any experience with the Schulmanager API? It should be possible to retrieve data from it. I’m particularly interested in the timetable and homework assignments. Thank you very much for informations

@sdetweil Yes, I knew the module was supposed to show upcoming birthdays, but when you get out of bed in the morning and look in the mirror, I actually find this feature pretty helpful :-) Thank you so much for the super-fast update and this option. Works great!

@plainbroke I just got a firmware update and I see RTSP is listed under advanced settings for my Wyze Pan Camera. I have not set it up yet. Earlier I tried using Wyze-Bridge and got it to work with my Wyze V1 camera. None of my newer Wyze cameras would work. It looked like newer firmware prevents the bridge connection.

@slosticlai If you want to see the brackets I made a module MMM-BracketEngine that will display any single elimination sport bracket. There is a provider for the FIFA World Cup. Other provider can be added for other tournaments.

I had a little time and have redone the thing. Since i did not want to kill the old module, i created a new git repository (i am not good with this kind of stuff) MMM-Lyrion2 https://github.com/barnosch/MMM-Lyrion2 no additional npm needed anymore and cover support from MusicBrainz and Deezer. works very good for my webradio streams i currently use. @Mati_93 search the 3rd party modules (listed above in the top menu) , there are some for touch and swipe (which may require different sensor hardware) they would send the ‘next page’ notification like the button does

Hello, As a dedicated user of Magic Mirror I am frequently searching for a module for my car, a hybrid Toyota Yaris 2025. I can check my car from inside my house, but a MMM-MyToyota module would be very helpful. I don’t have the skills to build such a module, but maybe there is somebody in this forum who is able to do so. Thanks Pim

@Thring I belive that there is NO API for this anymore, not since 2020 I think.

@nowayto I have made changes to the module to accommodate the API key, however, when I tested it, it did not work for me. The Growatt NPM module states the following: You can get the key by having an email sent to you on the Grwatt website for a third party to display the data. The key is the combination of numbers and letters in the link. It has 96 characters. The API key I am seeing is much shorter than the 96 character key mentioned above and as a result I was getting a 500 error when I was testing it. This is obviously the wrong key. as i understand it this module has gone through a few iterations/forks, jclarke0000 > qistoph > radokristof im 90% sure im using qistophs version. Google recently (well… maybe a year ago) consolidated “Directions API” and “Advanced Directions API” into their new “Routes API” and changed the way they billed i uncommented code around this time because i expanded my MM Instances, which led to increasing costs due to the “Advanced API” billing structure. wondering if anyone is aware of similar/identical modules that use the updated API, if not ill probably make it my next project to figure out how similar API calls are between the outdated stuff and the new Routes API.

@comedyclub One simple approach could be to adapt the compliments module and trigger specific phrases through a custom action instead of letting it rotate randomly. You could store your phrases in a list and map each one to a button or remote command so only the selected text shows on the mirror when you want it. That way it behaves more like an on demand text generator rather than an automatic cycle. I have seen people do similar things when experimenting with stylized outputs like brat text, so the logic should be flexible enough with a bit of customization.

Yes, I attempted installed to install the ‘stable’ version and it did not automatically select the gateway port number. I will attempt to install the ‘beta’ version tonight. Thanks for the help. BTW, I ran Wireshark last night and found the port number, at least for the GW3000, it is 53374. I would never have guessed it.
