As the title says, a lot of other emulators have the option for 2 types of fast forwarding - hold or toggle.

At the moment, toggle is the only option for MelonDS, but it would be awesome if you could add this functionality in yourself!

    I second this! It's something I use all the time in Retroarch that I miss here.

    It would also maintain mapping consistency between emulators :)
