[Bug] Could not find ROM #97

Problem:
Retro Game Challenge 2 with the Daily Challenge RetroAchievements patch doesn't appear at all within the game menu in MelonDS, this has happened across all android based versions of MelonDS I've tested it with, both stable MelonDS and MelonDualDS releases, and the latest release candidates MelonDualDS. Using a launcher to scan for the games and force it to load results in a "Could not find ROM" screen.

Attempting to load the Japanese version of the game or the English translation patch works fine, and both appear in the game list and run as usual with RetroAchievements. The Daily Challenge patched ROM also works perfectly fine when running in MelonDS on Windows.

From looking around it seems that this is a more general issue other users have encountered before for MelonDS with various games, although rarely. Below are the common suggested fixes in those cases, though none have worked. The issue is apparently a bit inconsistent from what I've come across, so hopefully all of the extra detail in this specific case might help address the bug finally.

Note: The new debug logging feature from the latest release doesn't log anything when forcing the ROM to try and load through a launcher, which is the only time I can make MelonDS manually attempt to recognize it.

Attempted Fixes:

• Repatched multiple base ROMs
• Tried different ROM directories
• Swapped directories, refreshed, and swapped back
• Different ROM names (including replacing the working JP and EN versions with identically named ROMs)
• Deleting all other versions of the game
• Hash checks on every version before and after patching to make sure the match the RA hash
• Using ROM folders on either the internal memory or a micro SD card
