Document the legacy Sass if() fix in the changeset.
The parser change also restores legacy Sass calls with comma-separated arguments, such as if(not false, red, blue). Add this user-visible behaviour to the entry. Do not add an issue link unless an existing issue applies.

I'm confused. How "legacy" is the legacy syntax? Was this a part of CSS or is it just SCSS?

Any reason why there are so many new snapshots? Are there so many cases? |
It's Sass-only. By “legacy” I mean the original if($condition, $if-true, $if-false) syntax, which has been around since 2010. Sass deprecated it in 1.95.0 in favor of the CSS-style form: if(sass($condition): $if-true; else: $if-false). The old form still works, and we need to handle existing Sass code that uses it. The changeset covers a separate CSS bug fixed in this PR: we were treating a bare if identifier in a branch value as a function call, even without a following (. |
Remove the duplicated cases. It seems they were left over from when I tried to implement this without speculative parsing, but that approach seems to make the code more complex :(( |
|
I see. Do you think it would make more sense to make it it's own syntax node? I could see us implementing a rule for it. |
