I don't know what they exactly should fix but with debian trixie they prevent sshd from starting. So these lines should be removed or only executed for releases before trixie.
Other improvement would be to increase BASE_IMAGE_ENLARGEROOT in this file, the current default 200 was not sufficient anymore when building MagicMirrorOS.
The IPQoS directive in sshd_config controls the IP Type of Service (ToS) or Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) field for SSH connections. Setting it to 0x00 effectively disables Quality of Service (QoS) for SSH traffic.
This particular setting is often used as a workaround for specific SSH connectivity issues, particularly on devices with limited network capabilities like some models of Raspberry Pi (e.g., Pi Zero W), where the default QoS settings might cause connection instability or freezing when connecting over Wi-Fi. By disabling QoS, it can prevent the SSH server from attempting to optimize traffic in a way that is incompatible with the device's network performance, leading to a more stable connection.
Its a fix for unstable wifi connections over ssh.
Its strange that it would break in Trixie, do you have the output of the sshd log?

ok, it needs to be changed from

It might have been detracted in the openssh 10 which is shipped in trixe, but I can't find where the docs.
