More Information

homebridge-mova is a dynamic platform plugin that exposes supported MOVA E40 Ultra robot vacuum cleaners as native external Matter robotic vacuum accessories.

The plugin currently supports the MOVA models mova.vacuum.r9504a and mova.vacuum.r5732a. Features include start, pause, resume, return to dock, multiple cleaning modes, live operational and battery status, and Matter Service Area room selection.

The plugin has been built with Node.js 22 and tested with Homebridge 2.4.0 on Node.js 24. It performs no analytics or user tracking and does not write files to disk. Without configured MOVA credentials, it skips the cloud connection and does not publish an accessory. Cloud, status and Matter command errors are caught and logged or returned as Matter status errors.

No existing verified Homebridge plugin provides this MOVAhome E40 Ultra integration. The similarly named matterbridge-mova package targets Matterbridge rather than Homebridge.

All checked over and verified — welcome aboard, and thanks for building this.

A few things I liked while reading through it: it writes nothing to disk, every request goes to the MOVA cloud and nowhere else, and it stays quiet until it has credentials rather than throwing on startup. The supports-matter keyword is already in your package.json too, so the Homebridge UI will show the Matter badge on your plugin page.

I've added it to the Matter plugins list as well, since it exposes the vacuum as a proper Matter accessory.

Enjoy the badge, and shout if anything comes up.
