As some of you know, my band has been competing in a Battle of the Bands in Houston at Chances Bar. The winner gets the headliner gig at Gay Pride... this is major exposure for us and really a musical resume booster. If you have time today, please take the time to follow this link and vote. I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!
It's easy:
1. Follow the link to the voting page: http://www.chancesbar.com/email/
2. Enter your VALID email address. There is only ONE vote ALLOWED per valid email SO if you happen to have more than one email account, I guess TECHNICALLY you could vote more than once! ***WINK***
3. Click the circle next to "Rare Faction" ONLY
4. Click the "add new user" button!
That's it... you have now helped us to play during GAY PRIDE! THANKS! We love you!

| HRC Event in Beaumont on the 25th |
[09 Jan 2005|02:03pm] |
Hello everyone, this is Matthew, I have been to a number of the GLOBAL meetings. Not sure how many of you are going to this, but here is information about the next HRC meetup/gathering.
I talked with one of the guys at my church who pretty much organizes all the Human Rights Campaign stuff going on in Beaumont. Their next gathering will be Tuesday, January 25th @ 7 pm @ Spindletop Church. There are directions to get there available here, it is fairly close to Lamar University.
They use meetup.com to organize these events, so you can hop on to the website for it at Beaumont Human Rights Campaign Meetup Group for additional info.
