wow, this community is seriously dead. :( there hasn't been a post in THREE YEARS. well, i still love Harlow, the girls from Harlow and have such fond memories of all the times i've seen them live!!! i know that Amanda, Melody and Chimene all have MySpace accounts now.
it just looked kinda lonely in here. :)
feel free to post your favorite Harlow memories, pictures and stories. i'm sure Amanda and the rest of the girls would get a laugh from some of the stories. :D

Not to be a bitch or anything, but I would just like to state that this Harlow fan would never ever ever ever ever ever ever EVER sell her CD. As most of you know, I have been stalking, I mean adoring Amanda since 1996. I plan on continuing my facination forever. Just thought I'd point that out in case you think I'm slacking on my obsession. I am indeed slacking on the website, but there will be some cool add-ons in the not so distant future. Peace out,

Hello...I'm afraid that I'm going to have to sell my guitar and wanted to let you guys know about it first before I list it on Ebay. It's a beautiful Gretsch Electromatic Sparkle Jet guitar. It's a gorgous ruby red with sparkles. It will include the strap (it's a swirly sort of rose design) and I also have a hard-shell case. There's also a 12 watt Crate amp if you're interested. (I know, I know...scoff at me if you want, but I was just wanting something to try and learn with.) There's nothing wrong with the guitar...to be honest, I hate to sell it. I never learned to play it though and I hate for it to just be sitting here when she could be onstage somewhere.
If you're interested, email me for pics! (my address is on my user info page)I tried to post the pics, but my computer hates me! ;o)
Thanks!

| Just for Erica benefit show |
|
|
| 12:01pm 08/09/2003 |
| |
Hi...I just wanted to let everyone know about a very special benefit show this Saturday, September 13th at Vinyl in Atlanta. (Vinyl is located underneath Earthlink Live at West Peachtree and 17th) The benefit, Just for Erica, is going to benefit the family of Erica Rutherford. She was an incredible young woman who was a big music fan and supporter that passed away in March after a two year battle with cancer. Her family is struggling with tremendous debt and some of Erica's favorite bands are coming together to try and help her family. The show will feature Supermatic, SWAGGER, The Bibles, and some surprise guests. ;o) There will also be raffles and auctions with items donated by Foo Fighters, Staind, Kiss, Butch Walker, and many more. The cover is $10 with 100% going to Erica's family. Doors are at 8:00 and the music will begin at 9:00. If you are not in Atlanta, but would like to help, you can visit http://www.supermatic.net and make a paypal donation. Any amount is appreciated! If anyone has any questions, you can email me at the address on my user info page. Thanks! |

hey everyone...i'm hoping that Harlow playing a show Monday @ the Viper Room in LA will spark some discussion here!!
it rocked!! they have a new drummer named Toby. yes, it's true he's a boy [gasp] but i must say that he fucking rocked socks and everything in between!! definitely an accomplished drummer that just played awesome. the rest of Harlow were as always, perfect!!! they played The Box which so far is only been heard live! and also they did play....
a new song!
yes, Beautiful Hell members and Harlow fans it's true!!! they are working on new stuff and rehearsing! we are hoping for another tour before too long and some more shows in LA! so keep on the lookout and send ideas our way!!!
i'm going to mail a gigantic package once i get back to Austin. and then i'll mail like three in a row. i have some kick ass shit for everyone who has paid and has been the saint of patience with me!!!!!!
i'll post more show details and set list later. i want to tease you just a little...teeny...tiny bit!!!!
p.s. the Viper Room sucks because i wasn't allowed to click one picture! so sadly i have no photos of the momentous occasion. which sucked because Josh Todd played that night too. he sweated on me. *LOL*

hi everybody
sorry that we have been quiet for so long... we were all a little hungover
after 2 and a half years of crazy touring... hehe
so, here is all the news...
firstly, we must say good bye to a harlow member... rebecca has decided to
leave harlow due to personal reasons and we wish her the best of luck in the
future.
chimene, melody and i are planning to continue as harlow and we actually
have
some exciting things that we are looking forward to in the near future.
the past couple of years year have been a long journey for all of us, and we
have needed some space from harlow to clear our heads as life after the tv
show and then relentless touring left our heads spinning. we needed to
regroup and decide what we want from harlow and our music.
we are all feeling very positive for the first time in a while, and look
forward to what will happen in the upcoming months.
we want to thank you for your continued support over the years, cause we
couldn't have done it all without you, you know?
more news soon... promise...
love
amanda, chimene and melody xxx |

the first fan club mailing went out finally last thursday nov 7th. but have no fear...when/if you join~ you'll still receive that first mailing. don't miss out! =)
i'm also offering to anyone, who hasn't already joined Beautiful Hell who sends me a self addressed *neatly PLEASE!* two stamped envelope~ a signed 8 x 11 picture of Harlow. it's been signed by all four & not copied signatures either!!! but it needs to be a big enough envelope to fit the pic with the two stamps on it. i paid for the pictures with some of my own money so i want to at least have postage costs paid for!!!
if you have any questions email me at fanclub@harlowland.com and i'll give you more details if you need them.
mail the envelope to:
Beautiful Hell

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Amanda for my online creative females community & website Judas Starlet. Their recent release Harlowland was also reviewed by one of our staff members. I must say she was very gracious & went above & beyond to make a wonderful addition to our fledgling site.
I am terribly grateful & she & the band have gained a permanent fan.
