I'm somebody's fetish right now, I'm sure

With it being in the eighties today, I changed out of what I had on earlier (light cotton pants, t-shirt) and into a bikini top and my shortest pregnant lady shorts. I'm *much* more comfy now.

Y'all that have known me in the past know that while I don't feel I get to pick for others, in general I feel that I certainly should NOT wear belly-baring swimsuits, pregnant or not. Yeah. Changed my mind. It's hot enough that I don't really care if the belly and the Ginormous Scar of Huge Longness shows. I may need to go pick up a couple cheapy bikini tops at W-M, now. This is awesome for around the house. My sense of humor demands that I get one of the ones with cherries on it.

No. No pictures. I'm not that much less body conscious.
I'm bored out of my gourd, today, too. Yes, this makes me posty mcpostypants, as someone on my flist might put it. Yes, my boredom is my own fault, but also partly because of the warm we've got going on. I'm starting to perk up a bit but I haven't sewn or cut a stitch since I finished attaching the lining to Meg's bodies and pressed near the seams (and got a burn on my thumb). I haven't used my tailor's ham in a while. Had to take a lint roller to it. I did order a really cute newborn sized diaper for Rose this afternoon. That's all that I've done that's even halfway productive.

I need to figure out what I want to do for the decorative strips. I may break down and go ahead and use the wool and definitely go ahead and stack another form of trim on to it for snazziness. ETA: OOH! I just got an idea that I really like....
I rather feel like a heel about it, but I had to ask B to start forgoing his regular Friday evening gaming. I mean, I feel like a REAL heel about it. He loves it and gets a lot of enjoyment out of it, and it's not that I have anything specific for him to do except for maybe helping me to further clear out the third bedroom. I'm just at the point where I'm finding myself stressed out when he's not around. This is Very Odd for me, because I'm an independent kinda gal - but when he's gone, he's got the car. I want him there when Rose is born and he wants to be there. I want him around him a lot right now. If I should go into labor or need help regarding "oh, crap, I need B to take me to the hospital," that's another half-hour added on to the time that it would take us to get there if he's in C'ville. Work is absolutely necessary, but I'm definitely getting broody and while I recognize with part of my brain that he has a need to have a break from the work day and from the house in his gaming, this other part is now loud enough, and logic centers are starting to join in, that I just see the gaming on Fridays as an interminable absence that can potentially "mess around" with getting Rose here if it should come to that. He'd have to pick up all of the little pieces, put 'em back in their little foam holes in the packs, explain what's going on, get out, and get back here. At work, he's just got to log off, pop his bag of CDs into his bag, and he can leave to get here, calling his coworkers on the way and explaining the deal.

Illogical. But it's now reached the point that I just can't ignore it or stuff it down anymore. I want him here in ways that would approach unhealthy codependency if I didn't recognize that there is a necessary logic to it at this point in the pregnancy. And it sucks. I hate feeling like a heel. He said that he knew he'd have to stop gaming nights soon, so he's not surprised. He'd just hoped to get one more night in. : /
Okay, I feel a little better, getting that out. A little. I'm going to go and try to be slightly more useful, now, maybe make a final decision on that bodies decoration.
