Lily: *in the Great Hall*
Remus: *also in the great hall, doodling on a napkin*
Regulus: *scowlscowl; at the lake*
Caradoc: *out for a jog*
Augustus: *out drinking again*
Fabian: *gardening*
Dumbledore: *reading gideon's letter*
Sirius: *running around*
Benjy: *in ze hall*
Gideon: *out at Diagon Alley looking for broom accessories*

Andromeda: *outside by the lake*
Lily: *nibbling absentmindedly on a roll*
Peter: *absentmindedly turning a donut into a danish and back again*
Remus: *scribblescribble; trying to draw a random person*
Lily: *glances over at Remus* What are you drawing?
Benjy: *balancing saltshakers on top of one another*
Fabian: *hmmhmm, digdig*
Remus: *holds it up* What does it look like?
Lily: *tilts her head* Er... *squints* A troll?
Augustus: *at the leaky cauldron*

Benjy: A scarecrow.
Remus: *looks at the picture; frowns a little* Really?
Remus: *tosses the napkin* This is why I don't draw.
Peter: *starts drawing on a napkin himself in hopes Lily will notice his skills*
Lily: *snickers* I'm sorry... what was it suppose to be?
Remus: It was just a person.
Remus: Sort of.
Benjy: Aha, then I win.
Regulus: *throws rocks in the water*
Sirius: *runrunrun, past the willow*
Lily: Oh... well, a troll is kind of close... *smiles*
Remus: Not really.
Remus: Benjy's guess was closer. He wins the picture. *puts the napkin near benjy*
Lily: *laughs* Hooray for Benjy

Andromeda: *Notes Regulus, conjures herself up some lemonade and figures if he wants to bother, she'll let him initiate*
Benjy: Yay! *folds it up carefully*
Peter: *drawing Lily, telling himself it's a "sign" if she notices*
Regulus: *spots andromeda; figures he hasn't bothered her in awhile but waits a little bit*
Caradoc: *apparates near the prewetts' and jogs up*
Fabian: *patting all the dirt back in place*
Lily: Were you trying to draw anyone in particular?
Caradoc: *jogs up to fabian's garden* 'Ello!
Remus: No, not really. Just a person.
Fabian: *looks up, grins* Hello there.
Caradoc: How is the gardening coming along?
Lily: Ah, ok. *glances at Peter* Are you drawing, too?

Peter: *blushes in spite of himself* Yeah.
Fabian: Good, good. I'll be able to start planting, soon. What're you up to?
Caradoc: Just out for a jog.
Lily: *smiles* It must be arts and crafts day! What are you drawing?
Peter: Oh, just, uh . . . *not sure if he wants to flaunt it, as he doesn't expect hismelf better than Benjy and is a little traumatized by the attention all of a sudden and the success of his bet with the powers that be*
Fabian: *stands and brushes himself off* I'm impressed, considering you don't live in the neighbourhood...
Benjy: *waiting, cause he likes all sorts of art*
Gideon: *looking in a broom shop window*
Caradoc: *laughs* Yeah, it was a hell of a jog.
Remus: *observing; eats a roll*
Regulus: *wanders over to andromeda* What are you doing?
Fabian; *laughs* Well, anything I can do for you, since you've come such a long way? *grins*

Lily: *waiting patiently*
Andromeda: Lemonade and a book. Want some? *Offers her cup*
Peter: Well, jsut look at it. *Pushes it to her; it's clearly a girl, her hair mostly colored in, rather sketchy, not obvious it's Lily but it's kind of like "who else would it be?"*
Caradoc: *shakes his head* Nothing specific. Just thought I'd visit. Where's your prat of a brother?
Regulus: No.
Fabian: Ah, he mentioned something about Diagon...I'm not sure what he's there for, though.
Caradoc: Probably something for that broom of his. It's not normal.
Lily: *looks at it, tilts her head* Oh that's rather good, Peter. Who is she?
Benjy: Not bad. *examines it*
Fabian: Yes, well...it keeps him happy
Caradoc: So would a ball of string.
Peter: Well, I was, uh . . . *swallows, hoping this is the best thing to do, since Benjy did say it was good* trying to draw you.

Remus: *raises and eyebrow and continues eating his roll*
Lily: Oh! Well... it's very flattering *a little weirded out right now*
Benjy: *suddenly interested in the saltshakers again*
Peter: I mean, you were just right there, and all . . . I was, uh, inspired. *panicking, getting sort of sweaty*
Remus: *takes one of benjy's saltshakers*
Andromeda: Want anythingi n particular? Or just . . . here?
Fabian: Only if it was tied to Betsy.
Caradoc: *laughs* Probably.
Regulus: I'm just here. *crosses his arms in front of him*
Sirius: *playing dodge with the Willow*
Andromeda: What a pleasure. *Sips some lemonade* Anything new?
willow: *thwack*

Regulus: No. You?
Sirius: *LEAP*
Fabian: Well, he's been rather bored lately. *picking up various gardening tools*
Lily: Oh, well, it's rather... good. I didn't know you could draw
Caradoc: *helps* He should find himself a girl or something.
Benjy: Hey.
Peter: I draw sometimes. Not much.
Remus: Hm?
willow: *swats at sirius as if he was a fly*
Fabian: I'm sure he'll think about that more once his obsession with his broom has died down. ...he doesn't seem lonely, does he?
Sirius: *dances out of the way as if he were a fly*
Benjy: *only has one saltshaker* I was...playing with that.
Remus: Oh, sorry. I didn't realise when I took it so I could avoid that bit of awkward over there. *points toward peter and lily and gives benjy his saltshaker back*
Benjy: Now that's understandable. *glances at the other two* He does realize that James would knock him in a bit, yeah?

Lily: Oh, well, it's definitely better than anything I could do
Lily: *smiles*
Remus: Probably somewhere in the back of his mind.
Benjy: Oh my. This is not going to end well...
willow: *being an angry willow*
Sirius: *flirting with injury*
Peter: *Grins, now sorto f wants to dissolve on the spot, and considering revoking his belief in that as a sign*
willow: *would be more than happy to injure him*
Lily: So how have classes been going? *changes the freaky subject*
): Remus: No, and he doesn't ever seem to learn... *shakes his head*
Caradoc: Not lonely as such. Just like you said, bored. A girlfriend would take his mind off things.
Fabian: I suppose it could. *takes his things inside*
Andromeda: Relaxing. That's new. It's been a busy past few weeks.

Sirius: *a slippery sort of fellow*
Peter: Pretyt good, I guess. Uh-- you?
Caradoc: *follows fabian* You don't think so?
Benjy: ... Should we try to stop him or something?
Regulus: Has it? I haven't been terribly busy.
Fabian: I think it would depend on the type of girlfriend.
Caradoc: No interns.
Remus: Well, do you think it would work? He'd probably think we were trying to sabotage him.
Andromeda: Wait until you're older. Enjoy it now.
Fabian: *smiles* That I would hope for.
Regulus: You're two years older than me.
Benjy: ...by helping him avoid a skull smashing?
Remus: This is Peter we're talking about. He learns from experience.
Caradoc: We'll save all of them for you, Fabs.

Lily: *shrugs* The same as usual. Though I'm a bit stuck on a Divination essay I have to write. I don't like having to make everything up...
Fabian: *makes a face* No thank you. I've experienced the 'intern'. I'll just pass them off to Jono. Not my type.
Benjy: Okay, was that sarcasm, because I can't really tell.
Caradoc: *laughs*
Remus: *not really sure himself* I guess we better stop him.
Peter: Divination's . . . a silly class. *Frowns empathetically.*
Benjy: Okay. *watches them for a moment* So...how do we go about that?
Andromeda: Yes. With classes two times harder.
Lily: Indeed. I mean, it's all a bunch of drivel!
Fabian: You enjoyed that entirely too much. *dumps his stuff in a box and goes to wash his hands*

Caradoc: *still laughing* I suppose I did. Still do, really.
Fabian: *shakes his head* Oh Caradoc.
Caradoc: *eventually stops laughing; mocks* Oh Fabian.
Fabian: *sticks his tongue out at him*
Caradoc: How rude.
Peter: It really is. It's not really a class.
Fabian: *winks and shrugs* It happens, sometimes.
Caradoc: I'm shocked by this behavior.
Lily: I know. But I suppose it could be worse *shrugs* How is Potions coming?
Remus: I don't know. One of us could shout "Hey, look, it's James!" and see what happens.
Peter: Pretty good. It's hard to keep up, though. I learned what you taught me, but now we're on new stuff I don't understand . . . *tryihg to see if she offers to help again*
Lily: Well, I'm sure you'll catch on *smiles* It's not too difficult

Benjy: That's not really discreet..
Remus: Well, it would work.
Fabian: Really? I've managed to shock you?
Remus: I think I've been around Sirius too long, I don't know what discreet looks like anymore.
Caradoc: Yes.
Benjy: That, mate, is not a good thing.
Sirius: *limping away from the Willow*
Peter: I . .. I hope so. But I'm so bad with learning from books and stuff, you know.
Fabian: Hurrah. Two points to me. *pats dirt out of his shirt*
Remus: I didn't think it was, really. *sighs* Any other suggestions?

Lily: You just have to come up with a system. Something that works specifically for you *nods*
Caradoc: Points for what? Are we competing for something?
willow: *wins*
Gideon: *goes to the Leaky Cauldron for a drinky*
Augustus: *still there*
Fabian: I don't know, and competition really depends on the prize.
Peter: Do you have any suggrestions?
Caradoc: *shrugs* Well, you're the one awarding yourself points.
Fabian: It was a joke, Caradoc. I was playing.
Lily: Well, you could try flash cards. We used those all the time when I was younger.
Peter: Hmm, maybe. And then I gte someone to quiz me, right? *Figures this is insurance for later help*
Gideon: *orders a drink and chills at the bar*

Caradoc: I am well aware of this, Fabian. Honestly.
Augustus: *spots gideon and drifts over* Hello there.
Lily: I suppose, though you can do it by yourself, too
Peter: I guess.
Fabian: Oh. Okay.
Sirius: *hobbles into the great hall*
Caradoc: *smiles* So what are you going to do now that your gardening is done for the day?
Fabian: I am going to change my clothes, and then I am otherwise undetained.
Caradoc: Any chance I could borrow your shower? Although I guess I could pop back to my flat...
Fabian: That's fine - go for it.

Gideon: *blinks and looks over at Augustus* Hello there. ...Have we met?
Caradoc: Sure you don't mind?
Lily: It does help sometimes to have a friend go over it with you. Maybe Remus will help?
Remus: *hears his name and glances over*
Peter: He's pretty good, though Potions aren't his thing so much.
Lily: Oh I'm sure Remus is excellent at Potions, right Remus? *looks over at him*
Fabian: Don't worry about it. You're here, and I'm not a shower-nazi.
Benjy: Of course he is.
Sirius: *approaching the Gryff table*
Peter: *wondering why Benjy is speaking for Remus*
Remus: *shrugs a little; spots Sirius* What's wrong?
Sirius: *plops down at the table* Wrong, love? Who said there was anything wrong?

Lily: *quirks an eyebrow* You look... exhausted
Sirius: I was..jumping.
Lily: Uh-huh...
Sirius: ...around..
Remus: You were walking oddly.
Caradoc: Alright, thanks mate. *heads for the shower*
Sirius: ...and possibly into things...
Benjy: Intentionally?
Sirius: No. Not intentionally.
Augustus: Yes, once.

Fabian: *goes to change*
Gideon: Ahh *drinks* I can't remember if I liked you or not... refresh my memory?
Caradoc: *showers; lalala*
Augustus: I've no idea if you liked me or not. I met you when you were here with your brother once.
Fabian: *matching socks*
Gideon: Ah, I see. Well, nice to see you again, then *smiles and drinks*
Sirius: So, how is everyone? *reaches across the table for the pitcher of misc.juice*
Augustus: Indeed.
Remus: *narrows his eyes at sirius briefly then turns to lily* You really shouldn't lead Peter on.
Lily: *blinks* What?
Gideon: So I get the feeling we were never properly introduce. *holds his hand out* I'm Gideon Prewett *grins*
Fabian: *walking around without a shirt on - looking for a certian shirt*

Augustus: I know, actually. *takes his hand and shakes it* I'm Augustus Rookwood.
Benjy: Peter.
Benjy: And the flirting?
Caradoc: *done showering and then realises that his clothes are dirty, shrugs and gets dressed and wanders out*
Lily: *makes a face* I was not flirting! I don't flirt.
Sirius: *snorts*
Remus: *wasn't going to use the f-word* It's just that he might have a crush on you... And we don't want James killing him and hiding him in a trunk somewhere.
Gideon: *quirks an eyebrow* Nice to meet you, Augustus. How is it that you know my name?
Lily: First of all, why on earth would Peter have a crush on me? And, second of all, why would Potter even care?
Augustus: You told me last time. And your brother might've mentioned you once or twice. *drinks his drink*
Fabian: *found his shirt!* *shakes it out*

Gideon: Ah, I see! Well, nice to meet you again, then
Benjy: Because it's Peter, Lily.
Sirius: And because James is James and you are Lily.
Lily: *blushes a little* Ha ha. Well, I was simply trying to be nice...
Caradoc: *wanders around looking for fabian*
Remus: Peter sees it as encouragement.
Fabian: *humming, pulls the shirt on starts the buttons*
Lily: Do you suggest I tell him to get lost? I'm not going to be mean to him just because you think he has a crush on me
Caradoc: *finds fabian by his humming but stays quiet*
Remus: No, just... be indifferent. Or mention James.
Lily: *shakes her head* You lot are being ridiculous
Sirius: He's a very delusional lad.

Gideon: *drinks* So what brings you to the bar this evening, Augustus?
Fabian: *does all the buttons up, then reconsiders and undoes the top two**humhum*
Lily: *rolls her eyes* Fine. If you think I'm 'leading him on', I'll try to... not do so.
Augustus: The same thing as every evening. Escaping from my wife. *drinks*
Caradoc: *watching; being creepy*
Sirius: It's for the best, Lillian. *swipes a cookie off the table*
Remus: We would've bring it up if we didn't think it was a problem, Lily.
Gideon: *laughs* I see. The missus causing you troubles?
Lily: *sighs* Fine, fine. *grabs a roll and nibbles*
Augustus: *sighs* She's just unpleasant most of the time.
Fabian: *turns around as sees Caradoc* Oh! Um. Hi.
Caradoc: Boo

Gideon: Why'd you marry her, then?
Fabian: *slighly embaressed* Been there long?
Augustus: She's beautiful and she wasn't always unpleasant.
Caradoc: No, not really. Sorry.
Fabian: No...it's fine. Just startled me.
Gideon: Beauty isn't really a reason to marry someone...
Sirius: Good lass. *examines a scratch on his arm*
Lily: What were you doing, Sirius...?
Sirius: *avoidy* Running, jumping... accidently running into things.
Lily: Of course...
Remus: What sort of things?

Augustus: For you, perhaps.
Caradoc: Sorry about that.
Gideon: Well, from what you're saying, it wasn't such a fab idea for you, either. I'm more of a personality guy myself
Fabian: *looks at him for a moment, then goes into the kitchen* Really, don't worry about it. It's fine.
Augustus: Well, it didn't hurt that her family is fantastically rich.
Sirius: Er, trees?
Remus: You were playing with the Whomping Willow, weren't you?
Sirius: Oh look! Juice! *drinks some*
Caradoc: *feels like an idiot now; clears his throat and heads toward the living room*
Fabian: *making tea* Do you want anything?
Remus: *rolls his eyes* You are lucky you are in one piece.
Caradoc: No... Thank you... *sits on the sofa*
Sirius: ...it keeps me on my toes.

Fabian: *humhumtea*
Gideon: *snorts* I suppose that's a... slightly worse reason... *drinks*
Remus: *stays quiet; drinks tea*
Lily: You're insane...
Augustus: *shrugs*
Sirius: Or fit.
Remus: Or daft.
Sirius: Or nimble.
Lily: I'm sticking with insane
Gideon: Why didn't you marry for love?

Augustus: Because money is more convenient.
Remus: *drinks tea*
Sirius: Fine. *drinks his juice*
Caradoc: *flips through a nearby book*
Lily: *smiles and shakes her head*
Gideon: I suppose. But marrying for money is so... distasteful *makes a face and finishes off his drink*
Fabian: *goes into the living room with a teacup, sits down on the other side of the couch*
Augustus: *just sort of looks at him and drinks*
Caradoc: Well, want to do anything?
Fabian: Sure. I've nothing else planned.
Caradoc: Great. Any ideas as to what?
Fabian: Damn, I was hoping you already had one. Um..

Caradoc: You know me, Fabs. My freetime is spent here with you or drinking. I'm already here with you.
Gideon: *orders another drink* Of course, who am I to judge *shrugs*
Remus: *eats another roll*
Augustus: Who indeed.
Gideon: Let's talk about something else. What do you do for a living?
Augustus: Department of Mysteries. That's about all I can tell you without killing you. *drinks* You?
Fabian: Well, Gideon's at Diagon, and since he's not back, there's a high chance in a pub somewhere. As for drinking here, there's the usual, and a bottle of green stuff that Jono brought back for me from Paris.
Caradoc: Green stuff?
Fabian: Yeah. I don't know what it is.
Caradoc: Jobo just brings you stuff in a bottle? It might be acid. He's always looked shifty to me.
Fabian: If it were acid, wouldn't it go through the bottle?
Fabian: *wonders about the safety of his cupboards*

Caradoc: It could be a special bottle.
Fabian: *goes to get it* It didn't feel special.
Caradoc: Well, I could just be paranoid, you know me.
Remus: *quietly drinks his tea*
Gideon: Interesting... I'm an Auror myself *drinks* Though I'm more of a paper-pusher these days... *pouts*
Fabian: No, no. We're not doing the paranoid talk again. *hands him the bottle* Now. Does this look acidic?
Augustus: Well, pushing paper means nothing's happening that an auror is needed for. That should be good, right?
Caradoc: Yes, it's green liquid.
Fabian: *sits on one arm of the sofa* He said it was a booze of some sort.
Gideon: *frowns* Yes.. I suppose...

Caradoc: Hmm... *opens the bottle*
Augustus: Or are you one of those war-mongers?
Gideon: I'm not a war-monger. I don't approve of ignoring a clearly dangerous situation, though
Augustus: I'm sure it's not being ignored.
Gideon: *scoffs* Right...
Fabian: *waiting* Well?
Caradoc: *takes a sip and coughs*
Augustus: You sound like a bit of an alarmist to me.
Fabian: Caradoc! *pulls at the bottle* What the hell?
Gideon: *shrugs* That's what they all say.
Caradoc: It didn't smell like poison, calm down. It's just really bitter.
Augustus: So you've been told this before?

Gideon: Quite a few times actually *drinks* I've gotten used to it *shrugs*
Augustus: I'm sure one would after awhile.
Fabian: Not all poisons have a scent, you know... Do you feel all right?
Gideon: They just don't know all the details.
Caradoc: Well, it doesn't taste like poison either. I feel fine. It's a little strong though, it goes straight to your head.
Fabian: *smells it* *pulls the bottle away and takes a drink*
Caradoc: Well?
Augustus: What details?
Fabian: *coughs* Yeah, that's strong.

Caradoc: That's saying something coming from me. It'll probably knock you unconscious if you drink anymore.
Gideon: *drinks and shrugs* Nothing. *shakes his empty glass* Psh! But let's talk about something more amusing!
Fabian: *rubs his eyes and hands the bottle back* Mhm.
Augustus: Such as?
Gideon: *shrugs* What amuses you?
Caradoc: *takes another sip and puts the bottle down; putting the top back on it*
Augustus: *shrugs* Lots of different things. What about you?
Fabian: I...think. Jono's an arse.
Caradoc: Really? That's incredibly random, Fabian. Although I've always thought he was an arse, why do you think I call him Jobo?
Fabian: It's not random, because he -knows- I'm a lightweight. And I just thought it was because you can't be bothered to call him anything else.

Caradoc: Maybe he thought it would help loosen you up a bit. Or he was trying to knock you unconscious, although I don't see where there would be fun in that unless he was around.
Caradoc: And I call him Jobo because it seems to irritate him. And it sounds like a clown's name. It suits him better.
Gideon: Flying! Well... brooms in general. Magnificent inventions, don't you think?
Augustus: Yes, I can't complain about flying too much. I don't do it as much as I did in school though.
Fabian: I don't think he was trying to knock me uncontious - that's a very un-clown like thing to do, don't you think?
Caradoc: *seriously* Clowns are evil, Fabs.
Fabian: Really? They're always so jolly.
Fabian: Like Kringle.
Caradoc: They're trying to lure you into a false sense of security. And look what it's got you, a bottle of green liquid that'll have you drunk in two sips.
Fabian: I will not! Damn clowns.
Caradoc: Here here!

Fabian: Damn clowns! *reaches for the bottle*
Gideon: It's marvelous! I can't get enough of it, meself
Augustus: So you like to fly, did you play Quidditch in school?
Caradoc: You sure you want to drink that?
Fabian: *pauses* ...do I?
Caradoc: I dunno, do you?

Fabian: ... Hm. *examines the bottle*
Gideon: *grins* I was a Chaser for the Gryffs back in the day. Loved it!
Caradoc: *looks at it as well*
Augustus: Ah, I played beater.
Fabian: Hm. *puts it back* Perhaps not tonight.
Caradoc: *nods*
Gideon: Really? Wonderful game, isn't it?
Fabian: *smiles*
Augustus: Yes, I wish I still had time for it these days.
Caradoc: Soooo, now what?
Gideon: There's always time for something you love! *drinks*
Fabian: Well, drinking's outisuppose, since that's a hard knock. *rests his arms on his head* I don't know.
Caradoc: Ah, well. I dunno either. I'm horrible at thinking of things to do.
Fabian: *flops on the couch* Whaddid we use to do?
Caradoc: Drink, if I remember correctly. I probably don't though because I was most likely drunk.
Fabian: I have cards somewhere.

Caradoc: Cards. Alright, if you can find them what do you want to play?
Augustus: Not always.
Gideon: If you love it enough, you make time
Augustus: I suppose I just don't love it enough then.
Fabian: Well. Old Maid of course. *looks under the couch*
Gideon: *shrugs* I'm sure there's something you care about enough that you make time for
Augustus: Drinking?
Gideon: *laughs* Whatever works *drinks*
Fabian: *stumbles away to scrounge for cards*
Caradoc: Be careful.
Fabian: I am not afraid of cards, thank you.
Caradoc: *laughs* I was talking about your stumbling.

Fabian: Oh. Well, I'm not afraid of the stumbling either. *rummaging through the bookshelf*
Caradoc: *sniffles* Fabian, you're so brave.
Fabian: Of course I am. *holds a pack of cards triumphantly* Tada!
Caradoc: Excellent job.
Fabian: *plops back down on the couch; tosses the cards to Caradoc* Your deal.
Caradoc: *starts shuffling the cards* Alright then.
Fabian: Mmhmm.
