I know I haven't been updating much lately, due to my laziness and my commissions. Now that I'm free, I came bearing a bad news ( or maybe a good one for some of you ). The thing is I realised that my community have like nearly 700+ members but sadly I only knew less than 20 of you. So in order for me to foster a closer relationship with those who enjoys looking at my arts, I've decided




What if you are not on the computer for weeks and didn't get to read this until after the date stated?
Don't worry I will re-open the membership every one month or two...
Alternatively, you can PM me and introduce yourself.

Sorry for making it so much harder for everyone but I think this way, it will broaden my range of Arashi friends internationally :)
So with this, I really hope to get to know every one of you more personally! XD


And I really am grateful for every who sticks with the rules I'm laid in this community so from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN! ~

 After much thoughts and of course with the help of your opinions as well, I've decided to watermark all my arts. I will not take drastic actions for now as to suddenly splurge all the members in the community nor will I lock it. I guess everyone deserves a second chance and I will give those people the benefit of doubt.

I hate to uglify my drawings when I'm showing you guys but it seems that's the only way. At the beginning I was tempted to just watermark the whole image, like one of a pic I saw on tumblr. It's a clever idea actually because if you only watermark certain parts, the people still can crop it or clean it up. But I was thinking of those who really wants to enjoy looking at my arts without the stupid stuffs. In the end I've decided to just watermark some part of the art, making sure that it's still viewable yet will be hell for people to clean it. I have to insist on using lengthy words instead of a shorter ones 'cause more words = more time to clean up. >:) I don't care if I'm being mean because I think I've been nice enough to give everyone a chance. Worse come to worse, I will watermark the whole art itself just so I can have a peace of mind when I post it online.

And I know my drawings people so I know if it had been cleaned or not~

Hopefully with the watermarks they will think twice before uploading anymore images from this community. I will just leave the previous arts I've posted before untarnished. I figured it won't be of use reposting the images with the watermarks since many already have the original drawings stashed in their computer. All the usernames I'm using for my other sites will be written at the bottom of this post, at the sidebar as well as in the art itself so no one can make the excuse that they didn't know about the rules.

One of the main reason I did not want to lock my community is because it will be harder for me to promote my arts on other communities since some of them do not allow locked post to be shared. The other thing is, it's a hassle for me to keep approving their requests 'cause they might have to wait a long time for the approval if I am busy.

If the people still breaks the rules then I have no choice but to clean up the community so I will only share my stuffs with the people I trust. Like they said, the smaller the group the easier to track down the culprit. If that still persists, then I will just have to shut down the community and locked it for my private viewing only. Which would sucks since I love sharing my arts with people and receiving their opinions on it. Helps me get the ideas and also grow from it, you know.

It will be a huge task but I won't mind if that means it will protect my copyright. The easiest way for me to start deleting is by seeing how much you comment. Usually these people who break the rules are lurkers and won't bother commenting ( much less read the rules ) therefore I will start off with those bunch. The reason why I'm insisting that you at least comment here and there is so I will know that you are not a lurker, and also I will know about you more. This means I can gauge what kind of person you roughly are and whether can I trust you.

And when the time comes for me to clean the community, I will keep the people I know and save you guys from the trouble of having to join the community again. There are already some of the usernames I have in mind. They are the people who have been commenting on my posts many times and I really am grateful for that. After I've cleaned and locked the community with much lesser members, I might or I might not start accepting new members straightaway. When I do reopen my community, I will make it harder for them. ( e.g: Their LJ needs to have a certain number of comments posted, how active they are etc. )


Here, I hope to seek cooperations with all of you. If you ever see my arts being posted by someone else aside from the places I've stated below, be a dear and ask them to take it down? Or you can PM me the link and I will talk to them myself. :) I will be eternally grateful for your help.

I'm sorry that I have to trouble you people with these but I was already worried about those who would make profits out of my hard work when I created this community, and now this have to happen. I thank you for your support and encouragement seriously. I really appreciate it and wish for you to continue enjoying my arts. It makes me happy when people's lives are brightened up by my simple drawings~ :DDD

I just would like to seek opinions from you guys about this community. 

I was google-ing my arts and just happened to find this person who uploaded my drawing on tumblr. EVEN THOUGH i already post it on my tumblr, the person had reuploaded on hers/his instead of just reblogging. Now I know it's a not such a big deal to fuss about but if I hope to prevent this stuffs from happening again I should take actions NOW.

And someone at FB had informed me that she saw some of arts being reposted though I'm not sure whether she knew it was me or someone else. ( since I do not use my username the same for DA and tumblr. ) I will be terribly disappointed if someone broke those simple rules.

SO, I'm thinking of,

1)  Cleaning up the members 'cause I don't think it's fair for those who always commented on my arts ( Yes I know who you are even though I seldom reply back. I LOVE you guys :D ). Even though I have like 600+ ppl in the comm, it's always the same 20+ ppl who commented. Not saying that they should comment on every piece but it's always the same people. That's why I thought that's it's unfair to them.

2) Instead of having an OPEN community, I would have it locked and only approved people who really read the rules. ( Maybe create some questionaire or something to make sure they really read the rules. )

3) Watermark my images with 'DO NOT UPLOAD  ETC...' 

4) Limit the place I share my arts. Maybe I will only post here, FB and DA. ( Places where I know who will be taking my arts. )

Of course I won't be so evil to start expelling people straightaway. Maybe I would do so at the end of the month or so? Or give them a month since I won't know anyway whenI will be posting new stuffs and how much XD ( It all depends on my mood~ )


I'm hoping you guys won't be thinking that I'm somehow becoming big-headed just because everyone started liking my drawing abit.  :(
It's just I'm sort of particular about these copyright stuffs.


edited: This is the 'watermark' I meant. Will be ugly for those wanting to use this for their banners but blame the rulebreakers! >__<  I will try not to cover the art as best as I can but enough for people to have a hard time cleaning it. :)

Hopefully no one would dare to post my arts up since I've already specified it literally on my works. It's better than splurging members. For now.

I might think about that since I feel safer having a comm where I know the members.
