I'm not sure if this'll get any results, but I figured, hey, 'm bored, why not. So here's what we're going to do, for now. In response to this post, post your characters and their descriptions, as per norm. All of your characters (that you want drawn, that is.) In about a week or so I'll make a big post with brief descs of all of them and links to the full descriptions so people who get bored and feel the urge to do gift art'll have a pool to do so with. Sound good?
Form beneath the cut, not necessity to use it as long as you're detailed enough with your descriptions.

Okay, here's the sitch.
We still have a ton of people who haven't submitted. I'm still without internet access on my computer, so finding out exactly how many would be a chore at this point. Since nagging hasn't had much of an effect I'm just going to shut 'er down, I think, pending... I don't know, maybe some later date, possibly, unless there's a huge show of interest in continuing (and people actually turning their stuff in.) So, y'know.
Thanks to everyone who participated and kept on top of their submissions, I'm sorry to have to close but the computer situation is trouble right now, and the way things are going we're building up a blacklist a mile long anyway. Any suggestions/comments are welcome.

 labluething and I were considering about [temporarily] switching the community to a competitive exchange.
Pros: The winner theoretically gets several pics of their character. No one's obligated to draw.
Cons: Not everyone would get their character drawn (to state the obvious), though we'll probably do honorary rounds every so often.
So input would be grand.
Should we switch to competitive rounds?
Temporary yea; switch back to SS at some point.

I've got both my pieces in--both my assigned piece and my adoption piece.

Phew! Glad to have those finished--although they were both very rewarding projects, I hate having the obligation hanging over me. Heheheh.

yes I know that its sucks when you get a line art but dont fret! just posting what i have so you know that you werent forgoten. and i wont sign up intill i do it the colored job finished. i have just been working on a new way to make my coloring better but it seems to be taking up a lot of time. so here is the line art. i will hopeful have the colored version to you by Tuseday.

I got your character Clio for this month! I'm sorry about the generic pose/background but I was slightly stuck as to what to have your character doing. Plus, I didn't have much light to work with, since I work out of town right now at a Ranch and the only time I can escape the kids is late at night and in my trailer. Artwork by flashlight. ;)

Okay, has gone oot. If you haven't received or there are Issues, lemme know.
List of adoptions:
We have, I think, only imerald and arquel lacking art at this point -- we have more people who didn't submit, but a lot of cases where people who didn't get art didn't complete a picture, either.
So if we could get takers for arquel and imerald's characters, that'd be fantastic. Obviously we want both drawn, but feel free to submit more art for them even if someone else has already 'claimed' the character.

As for the other people who haven't submitted and haven't received, once you get yours in you'll be added to the adoption list. Those people are: dracothorpe, who was doing westly; westly, who was doing cloudstarwolf; cloudstarwolf, who was doing labluething. So once some of the three of you do your thang we'll put you up here, as well.
Also, if I made a mistake here and you did submit art or didn't receive art, give a yell. No offense meant to anyone or anything if I goofed.
