I went to the their concert in Boston at the Axis last night! Haha..at first there were like 30 people in line and my friends and I got there at like 3:30 when the show started at like 6...haha...when we got in I was able to get right up to the stage..and as the concert went on, LOTS of people came in so it did get crowded...
Ya so "This is Me Smiling" was great and awesome. We were right on Sheldon's side (the piano dude and the one who plays "chris" in the "happy holidays" video on the HushSound's buzznet page) and his microphone fell on my friend when they were switching to the next band....
"This Providence" Was great too..I don't know the guy's name...but he kinda looked like sonic the hedge hog to me..haha...but he was cute...
And "Murder by Death" well....I didn't like them that much...the girl was great though...I loved how she played that..what is it..electric chello? It was cool...but their songs were all about alchool and stuff....and most of the kids there were like 12...
Then my friend got sick so we had to move to the back so she could be close to the bathroom..but that's ok 'cuz we got to see ALL of the Hushies on the stage!
Ya, so Gretta sounds like 10 times BETTER live than on the cd....and I didn't think that was possible! She was great...they made us get on the floor during "My Apologies"...and then made us jump us and dance like crazy haha...and then during "Wine Red" Adam, their merch guy a.k.a Mr. Mustaccio, came out dressed like a cowboy and break danced..hahaha he was great...
afterwards (They had to cut out like 15 songs due to the Axis being hiphop nightlcub and having a curfew and what not..boooo!) we went outside to wait for the hushies to come out...and we had birthday hats and a birthday crown since it was my friend's birthday. We went to the members of "this is me smiling" and had them sign the crown and wear hats, then we went up to some of the memebers of "this providence" and made them sign the crown and wear hats...then we found the hush sound and made them sign the crown and wear the hats...hehehe....Darren wore his hat to take a picture with us and he was like "Wow, this feels uncomfortable..but it's cool"...and then we saw Bob comming out carrying things...so we stopped him and asked him to take a picture with us and everything..but he was carrying things..so my friend asked if we should just follow him somewhere..and then we all laughed..cuz it sonded stalkerish...but we did follow him to the van...and gave him a hat..which he acidentally signed...and then he wore it for the picture with my friend..then he wore it on his neck for a picture with me and my other friend...then we met up with Gretta..and we told her it was my friend's birthday and she asked how old she was and we said 18 and Gretta was like "Ooooh! I'm 18 TOO!" and gave her a huge hug....haha Gretta is awesome! We also met chris..but he was like "oh, hat.sure..I'll wear it"....
Ya, so I'll get pictures of people wearing hats and what not soon..my firend should be uploading them sometime tonight...They were all WHICKED nice (and random)....ya... |
