This community arose as a result of my own research into the Jumper universe as a slash fan writer. I'm details oriented and given the diversity of source material, I collected everything I knew into one file. As other authors often times need or want to know such type of information, I decided it would be good to share my resources. I'm also hoping this will help fill in gaps or possible canon mix-ups and errors between different Jumper outlets.
This is a collaborative research resource community for those engaged in fan-crafting in the Jumper film narrative universe.
References material used in creating these FAQs come from: the film Jumper; the novel, Griffin’s Story; the video game of the same name; the video game web site; the official movie web site; the graphic novel, Jumper: Jumpscars; the animated short film, Jumpstart: David's Story; DVD extras and various interviews.
It does not contain material from the original Jumper book and its sequel, Reflex. Both are considered by the film director and book author to be a different narrative universe.
Content is always being added. I am posting longer ones under cuts.
RULES:
1) everyone gets along and plays nicely! RESPECT.
2) all entries are to be tagged - please see list and feel free to request new tags.
3) when adding comments with new information for the FAQs, please ensure you note the source of this information.
4) please check the FAQs first before posting a request for information.
5) where possible, related photographs will be added. Feel free to share yours - no hotlinking.
6) understand that by readings the FAQs, you are opening yourself up to spoilers :)
