I've been a bit spoiled by my new duties. The week I was working lead with the boss out of town I didn't have to take a single call from a customer. In the past two weeks I've had very limited time actually on the phone with customers. I've been doing pre-interviews, scheduling interiviews, and sitting in on interviews. I've also been writing/rewriting procedures like there is no tomorrow.
I have started to get grumpy whenever I have to do actual tech work. I just hope they make the decision soon to keep me as the only dayshift lead. The choice still seems as obvious to me as when they first decided to "try us out" ;)
