All I Want; a James Wilson & Julia Cuddy fanmix*

So, I've made it my goal to decide my senior quote before my senior year of high school even begins. Here we go, it's between a quote from House or a quote from Castle. (They have to be 16 words or under.)

Quotes:

"I don't want to hope that I'm not alone. I want to know it." - Lisa Cuddy [I hate having to edit that quote to use it.]

"And if you are very lucky, you find someone willing to stand with you." - Katherine Beckett

No matter how depressing those quotes sound - they define my entire junior year of high school. 

In the beginning of the year, up until mid-April, I struggled through the year while my mom was faced with a life-threatening illness. In my mind, no one outside the internet world (except for one person) was truly there to listen to me or talk to me. I felt like I was going to be left to struggle through the year alone, barely passing classes or finding emotional support for myself. 

But, then around mid-April, things began to change. One of my teachers and I became very close friends, and I found myself opening up to her about why I wasn't getting assignments done on time. Instead of simply ignoring questions about it, I'd talk to her after class - telling her about something that may have happened at home or with a friend that made me too upset or hurt to be able to concentrate on anything else. She began giving me extensions, or offering to help me during free periods and after school, just so I could get my work done. Even though I only really had her for about 5 months of the school year, she probably is one of the best friends I've made throughout my whole high school year. And, she's probably also the reason I passed my junior year.
