My journal is a way to practice writing. I try to make each entry a story, complete in itself. I try to find the magical in the everyday. My journal is clean, entertaining (I hope), and accessible to everyone. I welcome your comments!
Interests - I read a lot of books, about two a week, all on my Kindle. I play piano and sing in a choir. I live in a beach community in Southern California, am married with no children. I like classical music and jazz, enjoy all kinds of novels, especially mysteries. I served many years as a youth leader at church, and still enjoy working with young people. I am retired. I was a theater arts major and appeared in many productions. Most recently, I did the narration for Peter and the Wolf and Carnival of the Animals with the college orchestra, and sang in a performance of Beethoven's Ninth performed with the community symphony. I enjoy listening to podcasts of Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, This American Life, Radio Lab and more. For exercise I hula hoop while watching old TV game shows, like What's My Line and Password.
