Disregarding everything you actually know about your friend's birthdate, which zodiac sign would you assign to them, based on their personality, opinions, beliefs, mannerisms, people they get along with, etc. Giving reasons encouraged, but certainly not required.
- Explored Jerry's (boss at costume shop, lest you forget) house and surrounding area. It is MASSIVE and untamed and there are wild animals and delicious fruits and and a lake and lots and lots of BUGS. Other than the bugs, it's totally awesome.
- Hung out on set and had a couple of beers with the actors. Lots of pretty horses. *_*
- Discovered a FIELD OF POT growing out on the middle of the set. Braided one leaf into my hair and was dubbed "Miss Marijuana" by the rest of the cast. Barely resisted the urge to roll about in said field and dissolve into a mess of happy...mostly on account of the ticks.
- Watched Kingdom of Heaven back at the house. Good. Fucking. Movie. Orli was expectantly devoid of real facial expressions, but other than that, the movie was pretty damn kicking. I liked the Leper King, particularly. Such a moving character...
Day Two
- Awoke an hour early (call time was 7:15 a.m.) because Boots, Linda's cat, who resembles Yohji and Aya's cat, Kitty, proceeded to nudge his way into the room I was staying in and affectionated upon me to the point of suffocation. In further feline endevours, the tortoiseshell female of the household was dragging about Linda's pink fuzzy slipper and meowing at it in what I am told is the same odd meow that she used to call her kittens. Precious.
- Woke up for real a half hour later with a certain elf-boy's name on my lips. (Potter, you know to whom I refer, and it is ENTIRELY your fault, and you had BETTER make all this up to Az!) Random oddity. I've never woken up saying anything before.
- Got out on set. Played cards. Waited around. Found out my boots are both for left feet. Endured discomfort. Waited around more. Slept. Ate. Waited around MORE.
- Got to ride on a BEAUTIFUL chestnut mare named T.J. Quite the sweetheart, though I DID have to steer her away from the weed several times. OMG, I haven't ridden a horse in ages. Words cannot describe how happy that made me.
- Waited around some more. Drew. Slept. Ate. Wandering around the encampment. Watched them blow shit up. Waited.
- Finally went back to the house to change, once it had been determined my role in the movie had been CUT. Was immediately summoned back, to be informed that I was now a PRINCIPAL CHARACTER, Sarah Robinson, wife of the first governor of Kansas, and apparently the reason many people moved out here in the first place, after reading her memoirs.
- Shot the footage. Felt very stupid hopping on one foot in an attempt to look like I was on the bouncing wagon after it had to leave. At least they got decent shots of me.
- Wandered around Jerry's property some more. Jerry has said that my friends and I are free to use the spacious graveyard for any parties we might like to have. Kick. ASS.
And after ALL that...I only got a little sunburn on my nose and cheeks, and ONE tick! So happy!
Anyone who was curious what Will might look like as a LotR character, here he is:
Meet Azrubel, otherwise known as Az. He's a sweetheart, really, when he's not trying to slit your throat.
Only fifteen, orphaned in the great War of the Rings. His father? That Haradrim you were lucky to see get shot down by Farimir in the Extended edition of The Two Towers. Mother was of the Black Numenorian Corsairs. Good shot with a bow and arrow, this kid...not bad with horses, either.
He's open for rp, by the way, if any of you are LotR-rp inclined...though he's quite attatched to the elf he's currently traveling with. Just don't make any sudden movements til he learns to trust you, and you'll be fine.
...also, alcohol is our friend, precious. Our friend....
