Hello everyone and welcome to the Kirk/Uhura LiveJournal community!  This is the first and, so far, only community dedicated to the relationship between James T. Kirk and Nyota Uhura.  Shippers from both TOS  (The Original Series) and from "Star Trek" (the new movie) are welcome to bask in their common Kirk/Uhura love.  The general guidelines for the community are as follows:

1. Please keep all discussion clean, treating other members with respect (regardless of their feelings for other pairings/fandoms).  Though this is common sense, really.

2. Feel free to post anything you want.  Whether it be a new discussion, graphics, icons, fanfiction, videos, other fanart, etc.  Only so long as it pertains to the Kirk and/or Uhura in some way.

3.  Tags are our friends.  They help people find your wonderful work.  Please use them when at all possible marking icons, pictures, videos, etc where appropriate.

4.  If you would like to become an affiliate of this community, please let us know!  We'd be happy to link you to us!

5.  Any questions or concerns regarding this community may be sent to us, noobianrose or lupisnoctis1286 .  We are willing to take any suggestions you have for the community and, of course, fix anything that needs fixing.

6.  Last, but certainly not least . . . HAVE FUN!!!  That's why this community was made, after all.

These guidelines will also be made available in the community profile which will be up soon.  As will the new layout . . . hopefully!
