A few years ago, Lora wrote a review of Made in Asia in BCM, addressing the overcrowding as the Crowd. A crowd so dense it deserves the capital C.
This was definitely the return of the Crowd, and it sucked. Practically everything was massively over crowed.

The Friday of Made in Asia is notoriously the quietest day. We had kinda expected to be busier than it was, on account of it being a school holiday, but nope, still blissfully not overrun with people :).

On October 13th, Bert and I got up early to go to Tour & Taxis for the Canon Experience Days. Which is a day full of lectures, product testing and workshops for Canon users specifically, which Bert and I both are.

| Catch-up post: Photokina |

On September 29th, Bert and I went to Cologne for Photokina. Photokina is widely regarded as one of the biggest photography conventions of the world, and you get people traveling to it from literally all over the globe.
We only went on the Saturday, because the other days it’s super expensive. But Saturday, the last day, is really affordable. We were very aware that it would probably be crowded AF, but whilst it was crowded, it wasn’t as bad as we had expected.

Last Sunday it was time for Comic Con Antwerp. Which Bert especially was looking forward to because it had Jeremy Shada as the main guest. Aka, the voice of Finn in Adventure Time. Which is Bert’s favourite cartoon. So that’s why on a Sunday we got up way too early…

Comic Con Gent is one of those events that Bert and I look forward every year, and we make sure we can get there every year. It's probably the smallest out of the three Comic Cons, but it's always a good time regardless.
This year they weren't for once clashing with that other con: Japan Expo, but it was the world cup. Meaning that once again Comic Con Gent proved once more it doesn't need to have a huge come out for it to be succesful.
And it really did.

Last Sunday, May 20th, was the first edition of Japan Con.
Japan Con is organised by the same crew that does Elftopia, as well as Comic Con Antwerp, Gent and Brussels, so we were sure that at the very worst, it would still be decent.
Keep reading to see if our expectancies matched up with reality :)

Seriously, I am SO fed up with all the bugs in that program. It's even worse that I have a paid account and there is ZERO service.
Would NOT recommend flickr at all at this point!

| Visiting the Photo Days convention |

I had wanted to go to the Photo Days, previously the Imaging Days, for a few years now. But the date never worked out. This year we had no plans on that weekend, so I talked Bert into going on Saturday the 10th of this month.
