Aren't you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community. |

| Gash Bell special edition manga and artbook |

*Edit* So I finally received the special edition bunkoban of Gash. It's pretty nice. Really small, but the special edition also comes with an art book featuring colored pictures from the Gash Bell manga, and few extra ones too...Strangely the gaiden chapter wasn't included anywhere...Oh, um, I might have pictures, so feel free to contact me.*
Not really news but the limited edition of volume 16 seems to have new artwork.
I'm tempted to buy it. Bought the special edition and the regular one. |

Konjiki no Gash Bell!!

Er, hello! It's been forever since I've made a post. But a friend of mine just told me about a new Gash Chapter that just came out! (Well, *somewhat* new since it came out in March, actually. Oh well.) Since I didn't hear anything about it until now, I thought there might be one or two people who may want a heads up too. :)
However, I can't remember if the rules of the community OR the scanlation site allows me to post a link or not (and LJ is being very wonky and not letting me access the community front page ... two days now! What's up, LJ?!) Edit: Okay, so no, community rules do not allow me to post links. Well, I still thank the scanlation team. :)
And yes! New Gash content! Go forth and read! We get to see another glimpse about how Gash and ... others ... are doing after the end of the manga.
It really makes me feel nostalgic. X3. When I have the time, I'll probably read the entire manga again. This sidestory actually gives me the urge to write more fanfic. Gaaah. *sigh*
Let's get a discussion started! What did you think of the newest addition? ;) (Warning: Spoilers beyond this point!) |

Er. Hello. ^_^;
I myself just got into KnGB, so I was glad to see a community for it (even if it is kinda . . . . .dead).
I wondering if anyone could point to where I could d/l Treasure Hunter?
And so this post isn't completely worthless, discussion/question! In the Faud arc, why was it that Zeon wanted to get Faud's power? He seemed plenty strong without it. Was it because he knew that there were demons like Clear around? Was it just to prove he could? Why was there a book written about Faud anyway? And why was he created? And how!? He's ginormous!
Er. Thanks. |

Um, it's been forever since I've done anything Gash Bell related, but this series still holds a very fond place in my heart. Anyway:
Title: The Future Perfect
Series: Konjiki no Gash Bell!!
Character: Kiyomaro
Rating: G
Timeline: Post-series. Heavy on references to chapter 276 specifically, as well as the events in the 2nd movie, "Attack of the Mechavulcan!!"
(He felt as if his current life story was being written in future perfect tense; something in him was waiting for an event that had not happened yet, but would happen inevitably.)
---------------------------------------------
Note: This was originally posted in 31_days for the prompt "lost in a dream from which I can't awaken", which in itself comes from a Konjiki no Gash Bell song. Heh. I couldn't resist. Also in honor of the fact that the entire series has now been scanlated! Kudos to the scanlators who didn't give up, even after Viz did!
Please let me know if I managed to get this fic right. Or wrong. Really, don't hold back on the good, the bad, and the Folgore. XD

Sorry for being a few days late, busy with the start of school and all.
Seeing as there's three long chapters here, it's gonna be a bit of an image dump. Also gonna try to keep the summaries more concise this time, to hopefully avoid making quite as many egregious errors as I did with my Gash Bell ones.

Konjiki no Gash Bell!!

For those who haven't seen it on Mangahelpers yet, Raiku's new series is starting next month and there's finally some solid information on it.
It's titled Dôbutsu no Kuni (Animal's Country as far as I can tell) and it'll be running monthly in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, with a preview chapter appearing a few days earlier in Shounen Magazine.
Additionally, he'll be doing three more one-shots in various magazines through September and October.
First is Aosora, in Gekkan Shounen Magazine.
After that is Oyaju~ Rider, in Young King Ours.
And the last one is Class Room, in Jump Square.
( Naturally, there are pictures. Which can be yours for the low, low price of clicking on this cut.Collapse )
That being said, would anybody be interested in these being covered here as they come out? Thought it'd be a good way to get the community a little more active again. |
