This is my general letter for exchanges. Most of it is phrased for fic, but can also be applied (mutatis mutandis) to podfic, art, vids etc.
In exchanges I tend to request the same fandoms over and over again, with small variations. That's not because I'm in any way unhappy with the gifts I've received so far (on the contrary: they were all brilliant and delightful), but because there are fandoms I can never get enough of. MORE CAKE is the operative word here. :-) If you find something among my former requests that speaks to you (see app links), go wild with it.

Please note that there are two links for my request in the AO3 Automagic App because I signed up with my pseud for a few exchanges:
General DNWs:
- Please no extremely graphic violence (if the character gets into a dangerous or painful situation but is ultimately saved and comes out of it without permanent harm, it's fine).
- Please no permanent major character death (turning vampires are fine, of very course) unless it is part of the canon.
- Please no bestiality. Let’s just keep animals out of smut.
- For all things smut: please no humiliation, no scat, no piss, no de-aging or age-play, no rape (dub-con is fine), no A/B/O.
- If you want to include Jewishness in the fic (not required ofc), please note my DNW: randomly turning characters Jewish just so for no obvious reason. Let me explain: I love if you choose a canon Jewish character from among my fandoms (e.g. Sarah Chagal and her family, Fran Fine and her family, etc.), and I love original characters that are Jewish. Also, pairing a canon non-Jewish character with an original Jewish character is welcome. And if you find enough material in canon to assume a character is Jewish (e.g. Spock and Amanda Grayson, or if you follow the concept that all Vulcans are space!Jews), then it's all fine too! Example for what I do not want: e.g. a Jewish Frank Spencer - nothing in the series indicates that he is Jewish, on the contrary, he is very obviously a Catholic (a major plot point). But if you think his interaction with a Jewish neighbour would be lovely to explore, maybe with Frank's typical mishaps and misunderstandings, then go for it. I hope this DNW does not come over as too restricting, but it's important to me.
- Please no "reader" fic or "placeholder" (Y/N) fic. Just give the poor protagonist a name and make them an original character.
General likes — just to give you an idea:
- All ratings, from general to super explicit. Don't shy away from gifting me a smutty fic — I like porn.
- I like all genres and styles: from fluff and romance to plot-heavy fics, case fics, angst, character studies, deeper exploration of a canon scene, fix-its, humour, post-canon scenes or canon-deviant what-ifs, erotica, hurt/comfort, adventure, etc.
- I love gen fics just as much as I love shippy fics.
- While I love canon-style settings, I do see the appeal of AUs, so feel free to go wild. As long as the featured people stay in character, I will love even the most outlandish AU. So if you think Condorman needs a Gilbert & Sullivan make-over, or want to send Frank Spencer into space, or think Dance of the Vampires would have been a success if it had taken place on a pirate ship — just go for it.
- For all things smut: I like fluffy vanilla sex just as much as kinky adventures. BDSM and powerplay are fine, as long as you do not include any of my DNWs. I enjoy dirty talk, humour in bed and comic situations, spanking.
- I am a sucker for history or literary references woven into a fic; in general, all kinds of “easter eggs” in a fanwork give me enormous joy.
- I adore strong female characters.
- I like canonically Jewish characters to be allowed to be unapologetically and shamelessly Jewish.
- Art likes: I'm not so keen on manga/anime-style, but otherwise I am open to all styles, mediums, techniques. I welcome art treats!
I'm also completely fine with 1st or 2nd person POV (as long as it is not reader fic, see DNWs above), and I am happy with any choice of tense you deem best.
And I am fine with receiving gifts in the following languages: English, German/Austrian, French, Yiddish. Also happy with Welsh, Italian, or Hebrew for shorter treats.
As of Feb 6th, 2022, AO3 has a new gifting policy. So let me emphasise: I welcome treats and I welcome gifts. Don't be shy. The only reason for me to refuse a gift would be if it contains harassment (including anti-Semitic, racist, homophobic language) or was obviously written as spite-gift. I tend to assume good faith, though.
