I was procrastinating perusing YouTube and came upon these videos of Conan speaking at the Oxonian Society. According to their website, the Manhattan-based Society is "dedicated to provocative discussion and debate with the world's most interesting minds" (you can read more at Oxoniansociety.com). Since I didn't see the videos posted here yet, I thought that I would do so now.
Conan is funny in the videos, but he's not his "Late Night" self. The videos give some more insight into his life, his heroes, respect for the entertainment industry and even a secret.

I just joined this community and was wondering of someone here might be able to help me out. A while back Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was on the red carpet for an awards show (perhaps the VMAs?) And was talking to the band Franz Ferdinand. He says something along the lines of "Franz Ferdinand! So are you guys gay... or extremely gay?" and the lead singer Alex replies "Moderately gay". I was looking for the clip on YouTube and found nothing. Does anyone have any advice on finding this?

I was passing by Gap the other day and stopped to stop and look at what was in their windows. Their new ad campaign consists of people, some of whom are celebrities, posing for pictures, all of which are black and white. One person particularly caught my eye:
I did a double take--I thought it was Conan. He has the pompadour and everything!
Has anyone else noticed this?

On IMDb, someone put this piece of trivia about Craig:
While appearing on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" (1993), he had host Conan O'Brien laughing so hard that he couldn't continue with his show and Craig ended up doing all the talking.
Is that true? If so, can anyone tell me approximately when it happened, because I don't remember that at all. And does anyone have a copy of the interview?

Hi, I'm new to this comm, and I absolutely adore Conan. I don't get to watch him much, tho, being in school and other things. Anyone know where I can go to download shows, 'specially those for December? Missed all of those. Was it just me, or did anyone else think that he was on something during his interview? I don't think he was drunk or high, but man, he was just a little bit *too* wired. His stories about crazy Icelandic New Year's parties were hilarious, though.
Also, does anyone think that he had plastic surgery? His face looks...too weird now.

One of my favorite segments ever on Conan (besides that skit where the guy sitting in the audience took a vote on how many people weren't going to vote) are his lullabyes. My favorite ones are:
1) the one with John Mayer
2) "drunken driving/

joined the bandwagon of course .. http://www.livejournal.com/community/iharticons/ .. i now have an icon journal which so far has icons of, all my children, arrested development, late night with conan o'brien, and phantom of the opera. later on i will add veronica mars, weird al, and trick. so far there are at least 100 icons posted.

Hi everyone, i'd like everyone to know that i'm making a new community for conan caps, conancaps, due to some issues at another community. I'm looking for anyone at all who does caps who would be willing to join and post caps from each night's episode. I hope to get multiple people willing to do this so that one person won't be spending a huge amount of time doing these caps every night. If anyone is interested leave me a comment and join the community. even if you can't post every night but you're willing to post once in a while, please come and join. as of now the community is open membership, but not open posting access, so if youd like to post caps let me know and ill give you posting access.

does anyone know where i can watch that special on oxygen with conan that was on thursday at 7am? i know i dont get oxygen slash i was at school sleeping in spanish class anyway as were alot of people. if anyone knows how i can see it they would be my hero. thanks <3kelly

iight i know there has to be some cone zoners out there who have been to a show before and are awake and willing to comment. im going to a show tommorow and wanted to know a few things:
A. what is this mezzanine thing they talk about? i look it up and get entresol which i guessed from my french is a sun entrance? groundlevel? idk so anything about that would help.
B. what should i wear:
a.jeans and a sweater
b. my cheerleading uniform with pants under it bc god knows skirts suck when you have to sit and stand sit and stand for a while
c. my cute knee length 40's retro strapless homecomming dress with jeans under it with the matching shoes. theyre so cute.
d. any other ideas
C. how does a show run besides what goes on on tv?what was your favorite part
D. does conan look/act diffrent in person? did you meet him?
E. i need to lay off the ice cream and candy. lol
